That isn't even half of the exaggeration. This same video was shown on Maximum Exposure, where they said that she:
1. Was a trainer, not a secretary.
2. Only needed 28 stitches.
3. Continued to ride whales after the incident.
Sensationalism in its truest form. The next clip show that has this video will say she was a crack addicted beastiality enthusiast who broke in and jumped into the tank, and that she spent six days in the whale's stomach before being rescued. 568,238 stitches.

In its defense...the Whale was probably just playing with her. Much like a baby kitten does with its owner. The whale doesn't know that It can really hurt her. If the Whale wanted to harm/eat/bite her in a violent manner, It would have done so and not just nudged her around for a bit.

I see where alot of you come from, wanting these animals freed, but they are used to teach the public about them. If the general public comes to love them, then more will be done to preserve them. However, the tiny holdings that they are kept in is ridiculous, and really only one animal is needed to any aquarium, regardless of whether or not they were willing to build an enclosure large enough to accommodate the beast.

And what do you base that on? The fact that the chlorinated water in the tanks stings their eyes? The fact that the tanks are infinitely smaller than their natural habitats? The fact that orcas in captivity has a significantly shorter lifespan in captivity than their wild counterparts? The fact that some orcas in captivity get so depressed that they are put on anti-depressives? You have to be truly dumb or ill-informed if you wanna argue FOR captivity.

These are not whales...they are DOLPHINS! People make an exception to dolphins being wild and behave with utter stupidity around them. I know of a number of cases where people have been jaw clapped at,charged at, pulled underwater and bitten by dolphins. They are wild animals for heaven's sake and extremely efficient predators.
