Very well done. A mini classic. The original film spooked me when I was a teenager, as you never saw the evil being, it was an malevolent presence, in the breeze, in the woods (especially when it was a sudden spark of light and sinister smoke among the trees at night). Until the end when they spoiled it with a furious furry 50's gonk with large incisors. Still, one of them films you never forget!

Do you have the boxed set with the B sides and remixes? I paid $180 in 1990 just for those two CD's, as I already owned the rest, and I still consider it a fantastic deal. To me, the B sides is actually a complete album, but as most come off of Dreaming and Hounds, I have remixed those 2 with the B sides included, and they are still cohesive

Yes and no...

There is a version called "Alternate Hounds Of Love" (you can find it on youtube) which features the strings and a completely different vocal from the original. THIS version is actually a cobbling together of the two originals (and dialog stripped form the movie), and was created by me in iMovie. I've never even made an MP3 of it, though the technology is out there for someone to do so if they wish.

Sorry to say, the alternate version is not easy to find (it was only on a 12"-inch vinyl single from 1986, and later in her 8-CD box set).
