We have them in new york, it started around 1998 light at first three or four a day tops. But then 2000 came along and I started seeing lines it the sky making x's and patterns that looked like someone was getting ready to play a game of tictactoe. After a downpour last summer all the coarse leaves in my gardern were ALL covered with a whitish film!!

This cut my garden production in half!!!

Anyone that believes that these are contrails needs to wake up!!! Contrails are gone in less than a minute!!

Thank you Rosalind, for putting this video together...I have been noticing the crazy cloud formations...I too, have taken photos of the S. Florida sky to document what I've been seeing...One evening we experienced an orange atmosphere...It was bizarre...In all my 55 years, never experienced anything like it! I've been seeing punch clouds and Chembows...What can I do to help?

Sometimes it takes redirecting peoples attention to other factors. I am not making any claims but I have always questioned all the gadgets people use these days. I personally believe there will come a time when peoples cellphone habits are coming home to roost for example. My main question is..........where are the pilots that are flying these planes. As a former crew member I know how air traffic is increasing every year and putting a huge burden on our air traffic system.

@juanplaza67 Also, planes do NOT fly in straight lines. They fly according to maps that are created for airtraffic where they fly from point A to point B and from point B to point C. I have personally viewed these maps many times.

@DutchsMaria They are curved lines on the map, but that is because the map is 2 dimensional. It is a straight line when following the curve of the earth.

@MoneyIsSilver if you watched the video of flights the curves they are leaving are much more than the natural curve of the earth. I also have thought about that, but down here in San Diego the planes that do this "turn" seem to be turning more than the natural curve, but then again I could be wrong.
