I just got a ZAGG smudge proof, matte screen protector. It is HORRID. Everything is blurry and there are little rainbow pixel looking things everywhere. And the warranty only allows me to replace it with the same thing or get more expensive full body glossy ones... :-(

I had the same problem with the adhesive coming off. I think it must be a manufacturing flaw because, a lot of people have had this happen. I'll probably get a Zagg, I'm pretty good at putting those on now.

Zagg is the way to go. I went to the mall this weekend and they had a zagg booth outside the apple store. Got a full body cover for the Ipad 2 installed and it looks incredible. Not one bubble. I recommend this as I am extremely satisfied!!

i used to use DLO antiglare/matte screen protector for the iPhone. nude iOS is the best way to go. :)

I don't see why a screen protector is necessary in terms of actually protecting from scratches, glass screens are hard to scratch (I can run a key on my Evo 4G as hard as I can without even the slightest scratch). Fingerprints however make sense.

honestly. ive had my iphone 3gs for two years now and not a scratch is on the screen. completely clean. no cases no protectors. i just always put it in my right pocket and my keys in the left pocket. the finger prints do get annoying though. but then i just wipe them off.
