Dude ur awesome could you please do a more in depth tutorial on minor tonality song writing? My band is like a hard rock/nu metal band with influences like Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace and Disturbed. We are following the 3min 30 second rule fairly closely but are finding it hard to write the vocal melodies to the already wriiten, guitar riffs! Could you give us a hand man?! Thanks!!

Your a great singer!! I'm always under the impression that when i write a song (which is seldom, b/c i suck at it!) that it has to rhyme. Now, what if the words don't necessarily rhyme what can i do to make the song flow well?

Great song. I think of a ton of songs of instrumentals and lyrics but every time I actually do go to write something down, I forget it. But the only times I really only think of things that may not sound bad even to me are when I just randomly come up with it without trying. I don't really know how to get it all down on time while it is fresh in my head.

I like this. :) And it's inspiring. I tend to go for poetry, but writing novels is my ultimate 'talent' as you may call it. I just write random piano compositions that I listen to as inspiration for my novels. I'm writing about 35 at once at the moment, so wish me luck. :) I've got some trailers for them too.

depending on what scale you are using, do you usually start a *bridge* with a vi chord? so instead of going back to I from say a V chord, do you use the vi chord (relative minor) to start the bridge portion?
