A lot of the MLP: FiM original songs are very forgettable. Sometimes, they're very embarrassing to listen to. RainbowCrash does a great service making them better.

That's a little critical. It was a song that was literally less than a minute long about the development of a young magical pony and her encounter with friendly wildlife. I doubt this song was made with the intent to create a complicated and riveting impression into your mind. It was a cute song made to make smiles, and succeeded in doing so for many.

And having one component that makes up one of the most complicated genres of music does not make this song a jazz piece.
