@FrostedaSkys Brenda loves Zumba! I think it is sometimes difficult when you are being video taped to act naturally. Chances are she was a little nervous or felt the focus wasn't on her, so she didn't think about facial expressions. All I know is she is always smiling in my classes.

Thankyou for posting so many routines, I am a newbee at Zumba with a lower back injury of many years and it is making me use my core plus my glutes at the same time, while working on my balance and I am finding that even the side with muscle wasting is benefiting from this. So thanks for posting every day that I do some of this stuff is a better day.

Zumba.com's definition: Zumba Fitness® is the only Latin-inspired dance-fitness program that blends red-hot international music, created by Grammy Award-winning producers, and contagious steps to form a "fitness-party" that is downright addictive. Reggaeton is a type of music like Salsa or Cha Cha. Reggaeton has a very destinctive rhythm that we use for Zumba.

@zumbanation The shoes are from Nike and they are called Huarache dance shoes. If you go into any Ladies footlocker of footlocker, and ask for Nike dance shoes or shoes for Zumba the sales people usually know what you are talking about. If you have a Nike outlet store, they usually carry one color of the Huarache's. Then there is always the internet. Good luck and thank you for your positive comment. =)

I teach at a small school in northern Mi. Glen Lake. I teach an elective course which is Zumba,Pilates and Yoga.The evidence linking movement with enhanced learning, reduction of depression.ADHD and other brain connections is overwhelming. SPARK by John Ratey is a great book about this. I became certified a few years ago, but do not belong to the ZIN network as I would have to pick up those costs(schools are on tight budgets in MI) so your routines are a godsend. Peace and Zumba

@dynmite09 The shoes are called Huarache and they are made by Nike. You can find them online at Zappos.com Search for Nike Huarache dance shoe. I love them. They have a kind of body glove fit on the ankle, it has excellent arch support and a swivel point on the bottom with a low tread. They are all out of purple though.
