@Iceicon2 loc means location, rot means rotation. So when you press I (i) to insert a key, you can chose from location, rotation, scale, or a combination of the three.
what do you mean by "skipping forward?" The best way (that I have found) to see where you have an error with a keyframe is to start at the beginning of the animation then press the right arrow in the keyboard one frame at a time until until you see where it messes up, then fix it frame by frame.
what version of blender are you using? It seems like you are still using 2.49. I recommend downloading the latest version as it is a lot easier to animate with. I know the new layout can be confusing at first, but its well worth it.
I appended your blend file into 2.5 version and saved the blend file so you may have to append to your version of blender if you cant open the blend file. To append/link, press shift+F1, navigate to the file and go into the groups folder.
You have to assign each object (including the armature rig) into the same group. Then append the file through the group (when you click the blend file go into the group folder then pick your grouped name) and the file will "import" as is to the new file.
@er0c13 i dont understand how to do that though, is there a tutorial or something or can you explain it?, because i just switched to 2.5 and its confusing
@paulosbruzzi yes, you go to the frame you want to delete, then with the mouse hovering over the timeline (where the yellow lines are) you press alt+i and select delete key frame.
