Convert to PAL or NTSC with ConvertXtoDVD

I have a dvd that has pictures on it and it worked when i tried it when i was on holiday, but after i brought it home the pictures said that they are 0 kb, i tried it in my dvd player and it also doesnt work. but space has been taken up on the dvd. Can anyone help. thanks

when ever i convert NTSC to PAL and then play on my DVD player it's jerky and stutters when camera panning or when characters move along the screen

I unchecked the option in don't fix audio discontinuities and i got better results

I also tried 1clickDVDcopy to convert pal to NTSC DVD with menus but the finished disc

Still won't play in my DVD player it says pal not supported

thanks for that. Do you mean to go in settings...dvd specifications...select pal or ntsc...this is what i meant before, is this where it tells you what the original source is or is this where you change what you want the video source to be eg pal.thanks

@sempei58 the only way to see, in ConvertXtoDVD, the original sources file format is to look at the framerate in the treeview under the source file info. (25 fps is PAL and 29.97 is NTSC)

the box that you are changing pal or NTSC is that the original source that you select , or the source you want to change to. I have NTSC and want to change to pal.

@sempei58 before adding a file, you can go into the main settings and select the format you want to convert to, then add your file and press convert, that way you can be sure you are converting to the correct format.

@vsosoftware sorry that doesnt answer your question, those settings are general settings. in the treeview, under source files, you can see what the original format of your video is by looking at the framerate.

Do I really have to convert NTSC ISOs to PAL before I play or can I just patch with ESR and not have to patch with NTSC to Pal?

Also, second question, can this convert both American (NTSC-U) games and Japanese (NTSC-J) games or can this just convert American (NTSC-U) games?

ConvertXtoDVD does not convert games but video files.

no you can't convert a game from PAL to NTSC, convertxtodvd is only for videos. you can't convert a game or a binary in general

Ya, i burnt lots of games before for my ps2 but when i burnt SAN ANDRES, the full game was in black and white, i thought it was due to burning 22x (BURNT TO FAST) im currently looking for a different file.
