  • @BoomerProduction96 I can feel butterflies on my stomach when he sings this part

  • Elvis is the greatest performer I have ever seen. However, and it pains me to say this, Ronnie Milsap did this song better than Elvis did. :^(

  • @Oddwun are you tone deaf obviously you need seriously help with music

  • Every once and awhile it all comes together.

  • Love this song, what an amazing voice,ELVIS ALWAYS

  • ELVIS is the king!(ELVIS eo rei!)

  • This song brilliant, the musicians fantastic, Elvis singing it . . . AWESOME!! Gosh I miss him, especially when I hear him sing songs like this....Yup, Love the song but love Elvis more.

  • love these old Elvis songs

  • is that really Elvis at 2:39? It is a picture of a boy with light brown hair and pale/reddish skin. I know that Elvis dyed his hair but this picture looks like someone else............I am really interested to know. Look forward to your reply.

  • @vbabingt that's him :)

  • This is a great song. Absouletely love it!

  • Interesting, but I'd still rather hear Ronnie Milsap sing it.

  • no other man will have the sex appeal that elvis had

  • To think this great song was a B side!!!!! I love Elvis 68 to 72.

  • I love this song!

  • Elvis did help write Love Me Tender

  • Incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Never heard this. It's great. Wish someone would post the Eddie Kendrick(s) version. VERY Brilliant, that one...as is the Milsap one. It's all good.

  • @TexasTina, Chuck Jacksons version for me!!

  • beaucoup des maladies ici

  • Ronnie did backup on this song. There a lot of top singers never wrote any of their songs. Why do people bring that fact up when come to him,it's like they are trying to do anything to bring him down.Get real!!! not going to happen, try all you want.Remember Elvis said it himself let the writers write and the singers sing.Writers have to make a living also.

  • Ronnie did backup on this song.

  • lovge it

  • XXX OOO XXX It doesn't get better than this XXX OOO XXX

  • I love this song.thnx elvis for given us your voice to listen to. it helps me through everything.....still mis you, still love you

  • Wow Burt Bacharach has written so much ,,,

  • Fantastic!! TY

  • #1

  • Surely his best record, and surely one of the best vocal performances on record ever. That slow passage towards the end is incredible. I remember this as a B-side. Played it to death. The original pales in comparison.

  • I respectfully disagree.

  • ANDY PROBYN HES A GIFT FROM GOD.....SEE UNBREAKABLE HEART,,,ELVIS& ANDY...TWO OF A KIND

  • people who believe in a god take notice. mabey he was sent among us.with the voce of an angel . he sacrificed so much so we could see the error of our ways

  • Comment removed

  • tommy im with you....Godbless

  • elvis had one hell of a voice. he could change tones and notes so many times in just one verse. if you have ever sang then try and copy him just one time and you will see what im talking about. lol it will crack ya up just trying one verse of his songs. merry christmas and godbless everybody.

  • There will never be one like you

  • @EnaRexha Like me?

  • I actually prefer many of the non hits sometimes. this is song is a perfect example.

    amazing. vocals

  • Man I love this song, it's one of my all time favorites from the King, because all you have to do is listen to the vamp in the intro to be hooked (god it's such a magnificently melancholy song, but that's ok, I absolutely love that). Thanks for the pictures there so awesome as well, but I have to say the photo at 0:52 caught my eye, he looked so amazingly awesome in the bright red shirt and shade!!!

    Peace and love my friend,

    Allison

  • Such a shame that many , truly great Elvis songs , were hidden away on B sides ! Certainly , [ IMO ] on a par with the A side ! I thought that MANY Elvis B sides were better songs than the A sides ! . Certainly thought that RCA goofed up a good few times , on that score !

  • @HeyRingworm2008 Yes, I agree w/you about great songs on side 'b'. They are many of my favorite Elvis songs.

  • @HeyRingworm2008

i couldnt agree with you more. RCA didnt appreciate what they had. i guess thats they like the colonel.

  • no argment(s) will ever, in whatever regards mitigate Elvis' accomplishments, I think.

  • The King still reigns the music world today! Long live the King!!

  • All I can say is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • elvis can sing anything

  • This is a fabulous song. I can't imagine anyone else singing it.

  • This is one of many, many brilliant Elvis performances that are almost never heard. Nice job for posting.

  • ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC WORK FOR AN ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC MAN

  • these rarer presley songs should be played more often for to some they seem like new love it loveit love it ...........

  • Man if I had one wish it would be to sing like him!!! He's awesome!!

  • @USAJoseph learn to sing along with Elvis voice then! You'll find your own hidden gem!

  • @Zecalran i used to be an elvis impersonator. (cant do it anymore, my voice changed as i aged) but i completely agree with you. when you mimic elvis. theres something incredibly amazing knowing that you can (partially) create that kind of magic that he could create. i didnt do it for the money. i did it hoping i could make someone else appreciate the magic this man created when he sang. there is and will never be another like him. what an incredibly magnificent voice he possessed.

  • @purelistener: Thank you for all of these beautiful songs sung by a beautiful person!!!

  • its a shame that this was a B side i believe it wouldve made a great A side

  • @Onion I don't care what he sang, as long as he sang.

  • is there any range this guy could not sing in?

    D*m

  • @R0bbiam NOPE ELVIS COULD DO IT ALL AND HE DID IT FROM HIS HEART

THATS WHAT MAKES THESE SONGS SO MUCH HIS

  • VERY nice vid!

I like the way Elvis sings this in a higher register, but the tempo of the song is a tad too fast.

  • genius...

  • This is a cool era of elvis.wamakebecouk

  • God Loved you E...you are purrrfect in everyway!! Darling

  • Perfect description of a god,I remember my Mother, who was born a year after Elvis saying "There'll never be another Elvis & they'll still be talking about him in a 1000 years time"!!!!! Maybe someone in 1000 years time will read this and laugh and think it was a short estimate! ELVIS THE ETERNAL

  • @Alanforfucksake You mother was right hun, he has been gone for almost 33 years but he lives on in the hearts of his fans forever and he will never be forgotten for this reason, his fanbase is growing all the time.

  • @Alanforfucksake i Never remember Elvis saying anything of that sort. In fact Elvis was so humble, but he was the best of the best.

  • @grace230608 Where did I say he did????I was talking about what my Mother had said!

  • @Alanforfucksake i agree with ya. but i hope the lord has come back by then and taken us all home by that time. merry christmas and godbless.

  • Who rember's the show "Any Day Now" with Anny Potts.

  • great song

  • So good, masculine this singer, errr.... what's his name?

God, fortunately, he is the most well known person in this world. Just perfect song for that perfect look.

    Dikke zoen, Monica

  • In an age of boy/girl bands and gangster rap music, Its great to listen to the true musicians of were all present and future music owe's its origins.

  • well said!

  • Excellent Video... 5-Stars! I love this song

but then, I can't think of a song that Elvis

sings that I don't like! Elvis ROCKS!

  • Elvis was and is the King!!! He will always be loved forever... a true and wonderful gift to us ALL!!!! Wish he was still with us!!!!

Thank you for letting me post a video response!

  • Yes he was, and that's the way we liked it!!!

  • When Elvis sang any song, he made it his. He ruined it for other artists. Sad but true.

  • Especially BJ Thomas when Elvis sang "I just can't help believin'" LOL!

  • @debgale1 too bad all he ever did was sing covers

  • @Onion241 ....yeah alot of the reason for that was Col . Parker who insisted Elvis stick strictly to formula....although Elvis had the talent to sing pretty much anything or any style....the Col basically just wanted to keep milking elvis's name and popularity for most part. (which he did)

  • @vardiss22 That is a myth. It is a known fact that Elvis recorded what he wanted, and dismissed the Colonel's viewpoint on which songs to record. Elvis also refused any input from the Colonel on production of his records. This is a known fact, which you only learn through in depth research from reliable sources. It is too bad that myth and misconceptions about Elvis are so widely found on the internet and are treated as fact and repeated.

  • @Onion241 He didn't only sing covers. Many songs were written for him. Elvis was not a writer. Big deal. Many great artists were never writers. And most of the greats from the 50s and 60s didn't either. Covering songs was extremely commonplace then. For ex Little Richard sang tons of covers..of course he didn't write Lucille, Good Golly Miss Molly, Whole Lotta Shakin, Rip it up etc. He co-wrote a couple songs. People should really get over the whole writing and covering songs thing. It's stupid

  • @TrueLight55 dont get into it one elvis ....thats it nomore no less may me hero r i p

  • @TrueLight55 True Elvis had writers employed!

  • @debgale1 i wouldn't say ruined,i'd say conquered!!

  • @debgale1 Not this song. It belongs to Ronnie Milsap..forever

  • @mrpentium Yes, Ronnie is the King of this song. Elvis never wrote any of his music but could preform anysong and be acclaimed for it.

  • @debgale1

Completely agree except for two songs: Tutti Frutti and You, ve lost that loving feeling.

  • @debgale1 my favorite Ronnie Milsap song. Elvis did it a little better

  • @debgale1 especially don't step on my blue suede Shoes Carl Perkins. Carl was so made at Elvis Presley. for that. However, Elvis is a very special person and he still lives on.

  • @debgale1 especially don't step on my blue suede Shoes Carl Perkins. Carl was so mad at Elvis Presley. for that. However, Elvis is a very special person and he still lives on.

  • this sounds like it has been on tv to but idk y

  • yay! i downloaded this...and i was listening to this while drawing stephen jones...LONG LIVE ELVIS...

  • I love this song...i used to listen to this when my girlfriend left me

  • What a great song - yes - sorry about your girlfriend.

  • Very beautiful song...

    Elvis the king...:o)

  • In my opinion.... Elvis made every song better. Just my opinion....

  • I may be black and he may be white; but this man had charisma

  • THE KING ELVIS!

  • So what you don't shit? The man was the coolest cat ever.

  • This is such a great song with a great Elvis.... What a voice...

  • You can't do what he does.................

  • on of my favorite songs Wonderfull ......just one king ELVIS 4ever...the best

  • que linda cancion!!

    elvis forever!!

  • From the best session Elvis have done, THE KING IS STILL IN THE BUILDING !!!! ((Elvis Presley fan club of Italy)

  • Not only is this better than Milsap easily, but it also tops Chuck Jackson's. Elvis' passion (as usual) is absolutely palpable. There seems to be a bit too much echo here though in this recording compared to on my CD.

  • I agree that it is better than Milsap's version but I think I would give Jackson the edge... by a thin margin, if only for the arrangement. I find this arrangement a bit rushed. Still, Elvis delivers as always.

  • @ol49rrrrr: Being a huge Elvis fan, I would rather listen to his version of any song, even if it's a cover. I usually think Elvis sang better than the original artists. However, I agree with you on the arrangement. I'm trying to get this down on guitar so I can cover it, and it's a bit hurried. I listened to Jackson's version and it was easier to follow.

  • Can you imagine if Elvis had done it using the Chuck Jackson arrangement? Another Elvis arrangement I find a bit rushed is You Were Always on my Mind. But still, Elvis sounds great regardless of arrangement.

  • please bring back elvis he was truly gifted human being and decent this world could do with lot more like him god look after elvis presley

  • elvis is great with any song he sings.....:) hes got that magic touch

  • nice

  • THE MOFO KING

  • Wonderful!

  • Another great song by the ultimate king of music...:o)

  • I also like Ronnie MIsaps version. But I think there equally as good.Just two completely different sounds.

  • There will always be people which are poor in their musical feelings and depth, thats is the average scumbage of Earth.

Elvis sings with heart and to hearts!!!

  • Mr Erikros, Listen here smelly bottom. Where were you when Elvis arrived on the music scene, probably complaining that Elvis is no 'Pat Boone". You sir, no nothing about music. One of your friends e-mailed me and said, "if they let you play the jukebox, you empty most bars" Your a big Boys to Men fan who thinks Heinz Wesch is the best singer in America. You love the Horst Weisel. "Now go home and get your fuckin' shine box"
  • Haha..I know music. And I know a lot about you. And I know that you are not only stupid. It is much worse:

I know that you are braindamaged!

You represent the musical garbage of Earth..

    ELVIS IS KING!!!

  • lol. i hate jackson grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr glad hes being made into lego

  • so what if you hate him so what

  • stay with overrated MJ then

    kkthxbai

  • In all fairness the Elvis comment should have simply been "they has never been a more original or talented artist then Elvis Presley, he changed music and American culture more than anyone else ever has." That but no means there are not thousands of talented people out there. From Elvis came the Beatles and so on and so on...

  • One of the best songs of all time - ELVIS THE KING!!!!!

  • It's a masterpiece of the king.Brings happy memories from my childhood.

  • Very great song...:o)

  • GREAT and sang as only Elvis could sing it!

  • Very beautiful, thanks for posting and to IMAGINE for the share.

  • I had never heard this version before. I had only heard Ronnie Milsaps' version. This one is pretty good too. RIP Elvis.

  • WUNDERBAR!!!Danke!!!

    KING,KING,KING!!!!!FOREVER!!!!

  • lol hes so much of a king that ive never heard of him before :S whch is odd as i have a masses of musical knowledge

  • You must not have that much knowledge, you comment stunk. labrown92

  • well, thanks commenting on a reply i put on over 2 months ago, u must be a real sad idiot.

Taking into account, i play 5 instruments and have alot of different influences for each one, alot of which being 1950 onwards, i wud say i have got alot of musical knowledge.

Im sorry to say, chuck jackson is not that famous and very very few people in my generation know him, but every1 knows elvis. And btw, what the fuck is "you comment stunk"?

  • lol thanks for that, just goes to show how "intelligent" you are. You cant even spell, and im sorry but as soon as you start getting angry and using profanities in such way, it just shows how much of a low vocabulary you have. Everyone here would agree, so thanks alot and "Your dogg as stunck" back to you, whatever it means lol.

  • nice one ktf

  • I love the beginning of this song.

    The King forever!!!

  • Comment removed

  • What da fuck are tryin to say....explain ursesel fuck!

    Elvis was fuckin beautiful

  • The secret of Elvis was his sentimental kinds of interpretation ... he was not a machine ... he put his hart in everting.

  • Great! Great! Great!!!

  • second time to run into you tonight girl : )

  • :)))))!!

  • wow morrissey reminds me of elvis

  • You can't take a thing from Elvis. You'd be foolish to say so...HOWEVER, I really prefer Chuck Jacksons Version A LOT better! Not that Im putthg Elvis down, I just think Chuck had a bit more of that soul to his version. IMHO
