Beautiful dancer. Unimaginative choreography. I didn't need to see her do the splits eight times to get it that her body is flexible. It looked more like an Olympic gymnastic floor exercise piece.

This is my absolute FAVORITE video of the Arabian dance. Though it is not the traditional interpretation, the choreography still captures the sensuality of the music. That often lost because choreographers are to focused on making the dance look middle eastern rather than capturing the slow and fluid essence of Coffee, which the piece is intended to represent. The ballerina is beautiful. I'm SOOO jealous. :)

@LittleSwan123 agreed. i did this and i can do is splits pencil..etc..But that type of flexibility..., DAAAAAAAAAAANG thats amazing. I was backround dancer in arabain....It was pretty difficult to me. Compared to Chinese Tea and Spanish Chocolate. :)

Yes, I do think this is the best choreography of Arabian on youtube.

My studio does the Nutcracker every year in Austin, and our choreography for Arabian was amazing. This past year a different instructor choreographed that dance- I liked the old choreography much much better. Not that I'm complaining. ^^
