The camera was pointed away from Bob repeatedly. Although that doesn't say much for the actual length of the cigarette, it could bring up any number of reasons why the cigarette may have disappeared. Maybe he sat it down, maybe he put it out, maybe he dropped it.

I just met Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier in PA when they were on their way to do the Podcast at PSU.
