But, I went to Glamis i went to a spot right next to the Train Tracks on the Right hand side of the road. I road a quad and it was pretty fun. see i have a Crf 150r the new Honda racing bike and i was wondering if it would Be fine in Glamis if i had a paddle tire on it. i only saw a couple of Motorcycles out there and most of them were at oldsmobile hill. please reply because i am Curious.
You better be damn good on that Dirtbike. I've ridden quads in the sand at places such as Glamis and Dumont since I was five. We had a friend with a dirt bike and I decided to give it a shot. Didn't go so well. With a dirt bike you need to be going over 30 to 40 MPH to keep it on top of the sand. If not you're doing nothing but putting your foot down to keep from falling over.
Thats actually really awesome ;o few questions, what was this filmed on? Did you film this? If yah did, nice hand lol pretty damn steady i wish mine was that steady. Oh and that part where the camera is mounted, that is really awesome, i didn't think i could watch a 6 minute video of sands and cars and enjoy it but i did so me = :)
It was march or april of 2007, 96 cars I think. It was about 15-20 miles south of the 78 in Glamis. Definetly a sight to see, wish I was there when it happened!
good video, i like the beginning and nice sound tracks too. one question at about 3:15, was the camera somehow mounted on to the rear fender? and if so what did you use?
thanks! at 3:15 the camera was mounted on the front fender. The shots before and after that one were mounted on the rear fender. all i did was cover the camera with plastic wrap except for the lens, then duct taped the camera to the fender.
