@kenv13 Apart from the fact they went out of production in 2002. The SR20DET motor does not meet emmissions regulations in the USA. So you can't really even import them, there are a few in the US but I'm not sure how they got them in.

The "Silvia" is Commonly Refered To As Most 240's and Others In The Family. But The Main Diference is That The Silvias are Made Domestically In Japan As A "GT" Version So To Speak. Giving A More "Off The Lot" Horsepower And Performance Than An Average 240.

Kids....lets end this "but isnt that car illegal"....blah blah blah You can own a S15 or any Skyline...maybe you can't drive it on the streets like most cars but you can most definately make it a track car and drive it there all day long. Also...you can import it as a SHOW car only, doing so will allow you to drive it in the street a limited amount of miles on public roads. Yes they will monitor this.

okk thats diajiro yoshihara's S13 at 1:11-1:24 that was his Formula D car for like the firs couple of yrs he also had an roof scope installed (i seen it at Road ATL 2007), that was the last time he used it and it was retired.. then they gave him a S15 but then ROCKstar dropped him for a crowd favorite... i hate that shiet!!!

it isnt illegal, its jdm. american manufacturers have an agreement against buying cars from another country. all the "japanese" cars here in the US are just japanese parts and assembled in the US. so techinically you could SHIP an s15 back in parts, but youd have to rebuild. not to mention meet america EPA requirements. if u wanna talk about losing HP put on about 7 catalytic converters onto this beautiful car. so yea.. in other words.. u have to rebuild this car to make it legal.
