The premise of the 99 percent theme is that it's one percent who are the problem.  It's much more than one percent. Greed is pandemic in our society because the money system REWARDS greed. We need a new economic system which rewards generosity and punishes greed.

Anyone who has critically studient Adam Smith and other founding fathers of modern economics can recognise the fundamental flaws in the system and how this would eventually lead to disaster. I don't doubt such things exist, but they are symptoms of the root cause, which has always been right in front of our faces.
