  • Oh my gosh! That was so beautiful and amazing! And you two are sexyyyy :)

  • you two are actually so adorable!

  • really cute :]

  • Awesome lifts! I'm going to try learning some of them!

  • Omg these lifts are amazing :) i really dont no how you do it you must have so much trust in him to catch you, but yeah like other people have said you need to point your feet aha but it must be the last thing you hink about when your in the air :L

  • He's big and strong. She's little and strong. It works. Nice stuff.

  • thats so cool how he held her with one arm

  • what do you call the move at 1:20? we've been calling it reverse cradle since we dont know its actual name

  • what do you call the move at 1:20? we've been calling it reverse cradle since we dont know its actual name

  • It's funny you're dancing to disco music, because the basic step you're doing is actually called "hustle". It just has a lot of lifts thrown in.

  • so me and my girlfriend are doing a routine to zoot suit riot and we were looking for some ideas and we came across that jaw dropping combo that started at i think 2:03 or somthing does it have a name cause ive never seen it and we wanted a tortual on how to do it but didnt kno the name could you make a tortual or explain how to do it cause it happens to fast for me to pick outt placements and what to do

  • nice lds church back ground!

  • Hey, the lift that you guys do in 3:20 in this routine... It looks fairly simple but as you're turned from the camera on the dismount I was wondering if you could explain that as I would love to work on that one.

  • please please please point your feet!!!

but still really really good lifts!

  • @Luv4Musical lol yes. I DO need to point my toes

  • I'm sorry, I've just GOT to ask! ..What is the height difference between you two? She's a tiny little thing. :D You both are gorgeous together, excellent excellent! :)

  • I am 5 feet exactly and he is 6 foot 2. BIG difference :) We are married too and get some funny looks every once and awhile in public. We just had our first baby and we are hoping he gets his dad's height :)

  • @mchris32 Oh my goodness! That is a big difference! :) Congrats on your first baby! Boy or girl? Nammme? ^.^ Congrats, congrats, congrats! You guys are -beautiful- together. Amazing, truly.

  • Do all LDS church gyms look the same or what? Where are you guys?

  • @BellazWorld We taped the video in Parker, CO but I'm pretty sure ALL LDS buildings look the same :)

  • @mchris32 True that. :) Anyways GREAT job. It's always awesome to be a tiny dancer doing lifts with someone who probably curls twice what you weigh, ;)

  • ;v; holy balls i wish i could do some of that

  • Am I mistaken... Or is that an LDS church gym? I see hymnbooks. Anyways, wonderful dancing. I'm a lifts freak so watching videos like this makes me happy and keeps me occupied for endless amounts of time. Hm.... if you tried to straighten your legs out when you're doing some of those lifts like Falling Angel or the variations of Fish that you have in there, things might transition a little smoother and look a little more graceful. Just a thought. :)

  • I'm a big lift fan myself and I just wanted to say bravo! The moves are so clear and easy to see this really helps with some moves that I'm still working on. So thanks again for posting this.

  • damn respect!

  • Wow you guys are amazing..

    What's the lift at 2:15 - 2:17??

    Thanks :)

    Again.. amazing :D

  • also did you plan out the angel lift fall through the legs thing or did you just get lucky on that one?

  • @joshhammer154 We planned it! That one is a scary one- I would never attempt it unless I knew he would catch me

  • you're correct you are much better in this video also i am impressed with the, what i like to call the Joseph lift at 2:15 that is a hard lift to do right and you managed to get out of it in a way i didn't think of. Bravo.

  • great lifts guys :D.. POINT THOSE FEET !!! AHH

  • No music AND no back-to-back Manning flip?

    Tsk, tsk...

  • We DID have music to this track but youtube removed it. Something with copyright? And what is the back to back manning flip?

  • We will blame You Tube for pulling the music.

In the history of swing & jitterbug, the very FIRST

aerial lift was when legend Frankie Manning would get back-to-back with his female partner

and give her the 'round-the-world flip', big in

the 1940's. He is the GRANDFATHER of the

aerial and we all owe him a BIG debt...

  • How cool. We know that lift, but I dont like doing it with Lance. He is so tall that when I get flipped over, I land on my feet pretty hard and it can hurt :) lol.

  • those are so cool. though you are so small and he is so big! lol

  • So these are amazing... I played the song 'Fever' by Michael Buble while watching this b/c some of the more jazzy parts of the song line up with the swing moves and it went well together. I'm not a lifts kinda dancer so I thought looked very amazing.

  • The lifts are cool, but girl, point those toes!

  • I know! I really tried this time but I'm afraid I'm not a dancer.

  • wow, this video has some amazing stunts in it. great job to the dancers, they are both incredibly strong to make these moves work with such poise.

  • Thanks :) You're right. It takes a lot of strength from both of us to make the moves work. I have never been in better shape than when I was going country dancing twice a week :)

  • Some really great lifts guys!

Me and my dance partner can do the high T but cant work out how to roll down out of it.... can you explain it for me?? Thank you!! :o)

  • The biggest problem I have run into when teaching new guys how to come out of it is they want to grab you with your arm. But it's important they just put out their arm (almost like they're curling a weight) and then you link your arm through theirs as you come down. With the legs, he can just keep his hold on them and wrap his arm around them as you drop. Hope that helps.

  • We finally got it!!! After loads of tries, we got there. Luckily we had a crash mat, as the first few times she just slammed straight in to that! haha!

    Thanks for your help!

  • yay! I'm glad you figured it out. The lifts are SO much fun once you get them down.

  • I'm speechless! this is incredible!!! congratulations!

  • I could tell you are from Utah just because of the names you use for the lifts. I live here too.

  • Make sure you do major bridge and shoulder stretching. Your back and shoulders lacks the flexibility you need to do lifts and aerials properly. . . at least most of the lifts you are attempting.

  • We just do this for fun- I'm not really worried about being all professional.

  • You guys are stellar! Love the transition from the floor at 2:16.

Keep up the great dancing :0)

  • it was kinda messy and the technique wasnt good but i sure as hell couldnt have been lifted and thrown around like that so i give you major props =) it was good to watch i enjoyed it.

  • whats the lift at 1:00 called ? Ive done it before but i forget.

  • We call it the high "T".

  • AHHHH !! point your feet lol

  • Yeah, I'm not very good at that :) I didn't start dancing till just a couple years ago so I'm afraid my technique is lacking. But I've been told what I lack in technique, I make up for in coordination and balance. I would love to take a ballet class though.

  • oh yea you should get into ballet :) its really funn !!

  • OMG this is so beautiful! omg u guys look amazing and def. in love!

  • k, so you guys are ninjas. what is the lift at (3:19) called? i have got try that one. thx

  • hey man, how tall are you??

  • He is 6'1"

  • Wow..you two are just amazing...personally I only weigh 102 so its easy for guys to through me in the air...but so far I have only learned how to candlestick...what kind of moves do you sugest if we are just starting out?

  • Thanks! The swan (at 2:59) is a really fun one that looks big and is a little more basic. Its one of the first lifts I learned. One tip, it may take a few times to find your center of gravity. On me, its right on the hip bone but it could be lower or higher for you. As soon as you find that, the lift should be solid. Also, to make it easier for the guy, make sure he locks in his arms as soon as possible and uses his legs to lift. Happy dancing!

  • hey man is there any way to copy a video c i dance and my teacher wants to do some lifts like this im a guy and these are some killer lifts we could u se

  • what's the lift at 2:09 called?

you guys are awesome, btw! :)

  • Thanks! Its called the fallen angel (my personal favorite :)

  • I can't get over the lift at 2:50!!!

  • That one is so fun to do! It is also a little scary :) If you want to learn it, I would suggest taking it really slow over foam pads until you feel comfortable with it.

  • I know exactly how to do the lift at 2:12 :D

  • really nice! you look great together, bur could you pliese explain some of your lifts in a video.

    I would relaly love that!

    Bye

  • We would love to! We're getting married in 3 weeks so things are a little crazy but we will post one as soon as things settle down.

  • ooh alright, thank you!

and have a nice wedding! enjoy!

    bye! xx

  • i agree with the other two, your lifts are awesome! and you two have great chemistry. well done. hope you don't mind if i steal some of these lifts. :)

  • We're glad you like it! Steal away! :)

  • wow you guys are seriously amazing!! and what makes it even better and enjoyable is that you both seem like your having a great time doing this..keep it up guys, you're great!

  • Yes I did enjoy it and I thought the lifts were excellent. Thanks for posting!
