shenmue music: nozomi (OST ver.)

A very sad, but very beautiful song. I miss the times, when Sega had his own consoles and made such masterpieces like Shenmue.

I heard that Sega is going to release some of their Dreamcast games on XBLA and PSN. Well, this could mean that, even if we never get a Shenmue 3, those who never got to experience Shenmue could do so, and those who sold their Dreamcasts could play it once again. Hopefully, when Sega re-releases their Dreamcast games on these networks, they will re-release Shenmue.

@CrazyCheeseMagee That's right. Think Sonic Adventure is already out and Space Channel 5 and Taxi Driver are the next. Think it's more a case of 'when' not 'if' Shenmue 1&2 come. But considering how the Shenmue fan base has been treated, it came as no surprise that the Shenmue games weren't the first to be re-released.

ya even till this day i cant stop myself from replaying it every once in a while. I really hope theres gonna be a Shenmue 3.

@Serieth Well, you might have noticed how well Shemue 1 and 2 sold compared to how well GTA 3 sold. This is the reason why we did not get a Shenmue 3. Why games like Psychonauts are commercial failures, why games like Okami barely succeed (though a spinoff is in the works) and why games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are so successful. If Sega thought that a Shenmue 3 would be very successful, they would have made it years ago. Yakuza's probably the closest we'll get from Sega.
