Can't believe the audience. They seem so lackluster it's unbelieveable. The band perform what is a classic so accurately with so much talent and energy and it appears to go unnoticed. I would have loved to be watching this performance live. Am I missing something? I can hear the gravel in Mike Scott's voice...

my husband tries to sing this to me, he's from Dublin I'm from Belfast. We're an Irish revolution waiting to happen. Plus he sings like a crow! This is a favourite something we agree on. Like sausage sandwiches....he likes ketchup I like HP.
Mega Rolononon.
Where and when is this from? Saw them live twice in '89, class. But Fishermans Blues was the beginning of the end. They should never have changed direction after This is The Sea, one of the greatest albums ever. The Sawdoctors supported them then and are still going strong, fair play.
@SportIrish I saw them the '89 tour as well in Los Angeles( The sold out 3 nights at The Wiltern) I rememeber that show like it was yesterday and still rave about it. If someone want to hear me!!LOL!!
@neildoyle101 What? This is a first listen and how can you dismiss heart. This song has it. You can boil everything down to anything unremembered. Don't dismiss the heart behind it. I celebrate this song and am glad they made it. You do know that Dropkick Murphys was influenced by alot of Irish shit right?

@belfastbone yes this just brings tears cause of the rock n roll with all the irish.. Sorry I came here. Don't think I fully understood at age17 what it meant to leave ones home.
No soy de la época de esta canción, yo tenía tan solo 7 años de edad en 1981; pero habiéndola conocido ya de grande, debo señalar que está de maravilla. Gracias por compartirla, amigo :-)

Think Mumford and Sons might just have an influence here.
In fashion that is cause they sure cant make music like them.
