@Drakmeire The reason that there aren't more dislikes is simple. Smart people (religious or otherwise) can respect this argument (I personally agree). The vast majority of people who aren't smart enough to respect the argument, aren't smart enough to understand what Voltaire is saying. So... the dislikes are from losers who just disliked the music based on how it sounded.

But I do believe he made cancer, and allows bad things to happen. He gave us free will, that's why there is war and such. He allows us to lead our own lives. I'm a Christian and I like Voltaire. I'm also gothic and I take my morals from the bible and myself; not any of the films i watch or music i listen to.
Voltaire is a talented musician and his lyrics are clever, just because I don't agree with some of his ideology doesn't mean I'm not going to listen to him. Favorite song - Tie between Feathery Wings and Zombie Prostitute.
I like how, despite how upbeat the overall rhythm is, Voltaire's voice and lyrics have that "despair" quality in them that lets people define it as "goth." Probably the only goth I'll ever listen to, and fantastic music it is, to say the least.
There is a point in both praying and belief. Praying gives people more belief and confidence(not sure is i spelled it right).. And belief helps people do things they acctualy couldnt. Like in middle ages - Arabians were not afraid of death because of their belief. That made them fierce and fearless, tough warriors. Many others were afraid of them.(Sorry if i made grammar mistakes, my native language isnt english)

I'm a Christian and I like Voltaire. I'm also gothic and I take my morals from the bible and myself; not any of the films i watch or music i listen to.
Voltaire is a talented musician and his lyrics are clever, just because I don't agree with some of his ideology doesn't mean I'm not going to listen to him. Favorite song - Tie between Feathery Wings and Zombie Prostitute.

I like how, despite how upbeat the overall rhythm is, Voltaire's voice and lyrics have that "despair" quality in them that lets people define it as "goth." Probably the only goth I'll ever listen to, and fantastic music it is, to say the least.

There is a point in both praying and belief. Praying gives people more belief and confidence(not sure is i spelled it right).. And belief helps people do things they acctualy couldnt. Like in middle ages - Arabians were not afraid of death because of their belief. That made them fierce and fearless, tough warriors. Many others were afraid of them.(Sorry if i made grammar mistakes, my native language isnt english)

Why cant anyone realize the song and start raging before the end? The song doesnt say God doesnt exist, it stresses whats the point of PRAYING to God if hes all knowing. I dont believe in god but I did at a time, so what the hell are you people raging over the song for? It makes perfect sense, god knows what will happen and how it will...Sure praying can help.
