@TheGreatPoohdini2010 I wouldn`t really say pointless, maybe not practical, especially in a one on one situation with the rim, but i had a friend that used to do "silly" things like that, now he`s really good at finishing in the paint and in difficult situations, simply because he has a good feel for where the rim is from try all those awkward lay ups. I once viewed it just as you did, but some people do develop some aspect of their game that way, just thought I`d throw that out there
