I suggest discussing the situation w/ dprjones. Let him know what's going on and ask for the best way to procede. No offense but with you in the equation, I'd feel very uncomfortable donating. I'd be a lot more likely to donate provided the money goes directly to the charity. Kind of a policy I have - to donate directly to the cause.

I am wondering whether how much the people do know about it in birthplace.

However, in Africa (country-side) the demons, evil spirits and other bullsh1t blow the mind of ppl and info is very hard to get.
