The R value is a shame, it does work but R20 it is not. Plus you can get the same crap at Lowes for 10 bucks a piece, which is quite cheaper. Buyer beware.
Ok Yes, I love that area, a nice height of land...our cottage is a couple of hours west and south of you, Carnarvon area.
I have to complement you on your cottage, its very beautiful.
I had an thought that I would build a stackwall sauna(a fleeting thought), we went ahead with a traditional frame building for it. Now that I see your building, I am kicking myself for not going that way!
I had been kicking my self for not putting down this kind of insulation on a house whose whole roof was replaced. Then I saw someof these panels at home depot but they had a R factor of 15... so I didn't feel too bad... now that I read these panels have an R 54 rating I am again kicking my self.!!!!!!!!
I did a lot of searching on the net, and spoke with the Sales Rep in Quebec quite a few times before deciding on the P2000. Don't know why your Home Depot would have the wrong R factor, bummer!

Oh....where in Ontario are you?

The cottage is near Barry's Bay, about an hour east of Algonquin Park.

So, are you from NY or vermont and this is in Que?
I like stackwall construction, and have use a similar material for insulation on a sauna.......

Nope, we're from Ontario and the cottage is in Ontario. The Canadian head office for P2000 is in Quebec.

Climb up and down the ladder and change shoes some more, that part was funny :p

yeah, I must have changed shoes at least 50 times that week or Gerald would have made me sweep the roof again
