What strikes me is how well written this song is, compared to a lot of the "hit" music I've caught snatches of, recently. These guys didn't just fall back on playing the same four chords in the home key, over & over again. (Hello, Black Eye'd Peas!) The music starts in one key, then makes a couple of surprising modulations through some other keys before returning home. There's tonal ambiguity to this song that's just not evident in most of today's popular music.
