Also you can NOT completely turn OFF the Traction Control, even tho you might switch it off it will still turn on with too much wheel spin, the TCS fuse needs to be pulled before the race. I just removed the fuse and installed a remote fuse holder and ran the circuit thru a switch and done!! A real TCS off switch

If the human in the standard zetec is an experienced drag racer & the human in the SVT can't even work a manual transmission, guess who's gonna win? On paper the 170hp SVT will always win, but it's "humanly" possible for a 140hp zetec to beat it, given the right circumstances.

the civic won in my opinion. if you watch the second race closely, the Focus took off before the third horn but the civic caught up real quickly and then beats it. so obviously the Focus is under powered compared to this civic. but the question is, what's underneath the hood of these two cars?
the svt are road corse cars and the stock to stock si and a svt is a joke the si is slow stock, i/h/e and they run beter but just enough to beat a svt..In fact want to make a svt faster swap out the 6 speed for a the standard 5 speed out of a zx3. Drops a full .4 at the track, stock. Low 15's stock
SVT's are FAR from drag cars, the gearing is horrible for it, geared more for autocross. anyone who owns or knows someone who owns a SVT will tell you the Getrag is not a good transmission for drag racing.

civic launches better for a few reasons: non-dual mass flywheel, no torque bog in first, and 5 speeds are for drag, 6 for autocross. The bog goes away with a good tune, the clutch is garbage and should be replaced anyway, and the trans, well because is a getrag, its build solid and expensive lmao, but its a decent one
