360 Modena would never beat an SLR on the track. The SLR has a much better power advantage even though the ferrari is much lighter. Watch Top Gear SLR posted much better than even the 430 which is the upgraded from 360 Modena

There's a reason for the merc winning.
The SLR has 617hp and has 580 ft lbs of torque. It'll go o-62 in 3.1s.
The F430 only has about 500hp (depending on who you ask) and 343 ft lbs of torque. 0-62 in , what, 4.0s?
Granted, the Ferrari is alot lighter, the SLR has over 100 more horsepower than the ferrari. It's top speed is 26mph more. (220mph)
