We can just see a small 12V battery, probably no more than 40AMP, absolutely no possible to reach fishes as far as 20-30 meters we can see jumping. They jump only because the light. Spot lights were used to shine on the water and the fish just jumped right into the boat. Quite a few big ones as well. Investigating this type of fishing further, I was informed by the South African Conservation officials that it is actually illegal to catch fish in this manner in South Africa.
