  • good video but you really need to stop saying "unloosen". Unloosen would mean "to tighten". Its like when people say "unthaw" lol.

  • This is good. Reckon the baby stuff would make it smell nice too! Thanks for that. From Oz.

  • Moral of the story: Drop your bike off at your local shop and pay them to change your tires. Hell nah am I going through that hassle!

  • it helps to lubricate the edge of the tire when you're removing it from the rim

  • That's was good thanks

  • 9 people own mopeds.

  • what is unloosen?

  • DUDE!!! That is great. Do you know if they make a wheel support for my 10 inch racing moped wheels? Thank you and great video. RH DSD

  • yo thanks so much motosport i changed my tire thanks to this vid, saved 40$

im only 15 and i did this with the two small sized tire irons on the rear tire of my 07 kx250f

  • What flew off at 6:21?

  • @jdawsondude I think it's the Gripster!

  • Dont buy a spray specifically for slipping on tires, just use WD40

  • i like how this was bassically an advertisement to buy this stuff of your site. When you dont NEED any of that brand named shit to change a tire.goodgame

  • Doug schopinsky

  • I replaced my cylinder head and unloosened the bolts to factory spec with a torque wrench before starting the engine.

  • Brought to you by MechanixWear lolll

  • i don't see what the issue is with his method, i just took mine off, two irons, no damage. Just don't be a moron when you do it an you'll be fine.

  • I only use Pro Honda baby powder.

  • what the hell flew out at like 6:20?

  • Wow unloosen???????? Poor guy he really likes hard work

  • @RubiczHD UMADBRO?

  • people dont know how to change a dirt bike tire?? thats sad.

  • Thanks for the lesson, I am going to watch part 2 now.

I feel obligated to return the favor by giving you a short lesson. There is no such word as unloosen, if there were it would mean to tighten. You are meaning to say loosen.

  • Looks like with such a force you'll bent a rim, Try to do it with racing tire...

  • I'm sorry, I like this guy but I think he should try to learn some things from Doug Schopinsky's tire changing video.

  • Just out of curiosity...

...is there a reason you only use 2 tyre irons? I've always thought 3 made things far, far easier as you can pull the middle one when it's not under pressure and then put it back in outside the other two. Easier than wiggling along anyway, I think.

  • Good vid. but what is the purpose of a rim lock?

  • your kidding right

u dont need any of this shit exept for thetire wrench

  • W.. T.. F.. Am I the only one that was like WTF is this guy doing pushing on the valve core to let the air out!!?? Uhhhh you're gonna be there all day buddy.. You let the air out by unscrewing the valve core and taking it out of the stem!! All the air comes right out instantly! Other than that he was pretty good.

  • Totally helpful and well presented video. Nice work, thank you.

  • baby powder FTW!!

  • The thing i struggle with is installing the valve once the tyre on the rim, any suggestions to make this easier?

  • tyre irons??? i just use soap and my fingers and knees

  • were americans why work on your knees like a pakistani dude?

  • Wow, thanks man. You saved me. This is much cheaper than going to a mechanic.

  • i hate when i forget to powder it!!!

  • 10x man!

  • when i see baby powder im out lol

  • do you need to balance dirtbike tires like streetbike tires? help

  • go take the rim locke fully off

  • Could this bend or damage your rim?

  • why not cut the tyre if you aint going to use it again??

  • W.T.F 6:21

  • lol; thats how it not works!!

  • @RockandRoll6969 its the rim lock who get out...

  • @RockandRoll6969 phaaahaaaa they cut that picture sre they did wat a failure hahaha

  • @RockandRoll6969 hahahahha

  • @RockandRoll6969 lol what did he break?

  • @RockandRoll6969 he tore the rubberband that protects the spoke nipples, don't know what it's called in english :-)

  • @RockandRoll6969 the rimlock looks like it flew out..

  • hey this is a nice vid but u kinda make it seem harder, the bridgestone guy makes it look much easier and u should use three tire irons..

  • I am watching this because I just f*ed up a tire with only 600KM's on...

  • un-loosened is a double negative...

  • Comment removed

  • he deflates the tire with a little wrench?

  • No, he simply pushes the little pin inside of the inflator with the tip of the wrench. which causes the air to come out. Thats all that happens with your ordinary tire pump =)

hope it helped adam =) haha xD

  • you can deflate it with anything dude you just push it in

  • Isn't "unloosen" actually tightening.....? haha

  • I Know Lol.

"Now Just un-Loosen the rim lock"

  • Sorry, I know you want to help people, but your making it harder. There is a video on here "easy dirt bike tire change" by mrblahh watch it and learn from it.

  • Yeah, you just got a thumbs up from me.

I've done car tires & doing my 1st bike tire soon. I know enough to know 1, he's not explaining some things right & 2, he's struggling.

I'm sure the brand new tire and it being "cold" wasn't a big help either though.

After you break the bead you should try and keep it collapsed as possible to take pressure off for when you use the spoons. I didn't hear him say that, and a tire can creep back up the bead.

I like the vid you suggested way better. THX.

  • Put some soap on it before u start ! :D

  • you prob scratched the shit outa that rim

  • this is the hard way to do it.

  • do tires have to go on a specific way. i.e direction of travel

also, is there a big risk to bending the rim?. or are they strong that way?

  • This guy sure struggles to change a tire.

  • take the valve core out.......and use a soap and water mix for lube

  • it would help if you removed the valve stem core, to completely get the air pressure gone, and then if you use a smaller tire iron to get it off, you can tuck it under the brake disc to hold it, instead of slowly working it around while holding it with the other hand, i've changed probably two thousand tires that way, my back finally convinced me to order a tire machine

  • this guy makes it hard to change a tire.check out "easy tire change instructions" that is a way better video.very brave of this guy to show himself doing it this way.

  • thanks for the video. All i'd recommend is using some lube on that sucker! you really faught takinging it off.

As for u younger riders learning. Great job on you for watching this video, and saving etc. I'm 26 years old now, and i've been ridin since I was 5. Good to see you guys still care to learn this stuff :)

  • how to make sure rotation direction of the tire is correct?

  • 6:23 wtf?:P

  • How about you just pull out the valve core, rather than deflating it by hand?

  • @ThatGuyEd1 no vavle core screwdriver...

  • All of your how to movies are very helpful. I am 14 and have to pay for everything myself and I dont have much money for repairs so I do the work myself and this helps alot I order all of my parts and gear from you guys and I have never had a problem keep posting the videos They are great.

  • Wish I could do it myself but my parents rather waist there money on dealerships that do it themselves.

  • same here im 15 saved money for 3 years for a bike. And can afford repairs i only have 10 bucks lol.But i try to do everything by my self or with dad

  • @leafedaduffa dude thats so weird everything u just said is the exact same for me except i just turned 15
