the reason indian hindus fight with muslims is bcos the muslims invaded india about 800 yrs ago..thats why...WHAT?WHY DOEESNT ANYONE GET THAT OR HAS ANYONE FORGOT THAT?
800 years ago, the fight started on a political basis when a trading ship somewhere from an arab country was captured and the whole crew was taken as prisoners in Hydrabad, India. At the time Raja Dahir was the king/leader of the Hydrabad state. So to ressue the arab merchents, Muhammad Bin Qasim was sent to india. upon his victory he made the state a secular state which means that he gave everyone freedom to practice their beliefs/relegion.
although i do agree with u that we must make peace and learn from our forefathers...but u mist also understand that this is really hard for the hindus to do actually...bcos they are giving up something which was theirs for peace...pity them...btw i am atheist, so i take a neutral perspective...

i don't think the hindus had to give up anything.... they had a choice and who ever choose to convert, converted. Islam does not force anyone. actaully i must say that no relegion forces anyone to covert. all they can do is convey the message and it is on the persons will to pick a path.
i just hope that people learn that mixing relegion with politics is disasterous. and there are many examples of it in every part of the world.

didn't the Mughals come way after Muhammad Bin Qasim? i'm not sure the froced conversions u r talking abt but as far as i have studied, Muhammad Bin Qasim did not force anyone to convert. It was the ppl who were inspired by him who converted.
