  • i saw this because i dont think i can stand seeing the real thing

  • THIS guy DEFENITLY took an arrow to the knee.

  • or you can use a chainsaw...

  • I'm a nursing student and saw a real-deal amputation like this one today. I've seen a fair amount of blood and gross stuff through nursing school, taken care of my Mom after several major surgeries and had babies. I don't think I'll ever forget what I saw today. Between the smell (even w/a mask on) the sound of the bone saw and all the blood, it was pretty crazy. Seeing the surgeon's assistant toss the leg/foot into the biohazard trash bag was pretty insane, too. This 3D video is nothing!

  • @nicayn10 ;O

  • eeewwww horrible now i dont want to be a doctor

  • @videochicken2000

You'll get used to it! Things that seem really terrible now fade away with time. I'm a premed student right now and things like this become common after spending some time working in a hospital. Don't give up on your dream of being a doctor!

  • Wow!!!!! LMFAO!!!!! The advertisement was a shoe commercial:)

  • @BradySayre everything would be half price

  • Oh my gosh

God does exist the poor guy must have got in a crash and the doctors had to do something to save him

  • is it possible if they can retactch it??

  • @Xx808SKATExX No i dont think you can i will be very hard

  • @mistercarrot123 i meant "i should b it

  • fake! its wrong! the skin incision is not done that way, how can you cover the stump now?

  • I am to have both lower linbs amputated, might this be done with one operation of maybe two?

    Makison

  • @Makison1000 stay strong!

  • There's no sound. Am I the only one having this problem? Help needed.

  • Poor Video Guy

  • Firstly you replace the muscles, than the bone

  • Anyone elses leg hurt while watching this..? >>

  • Just yell out BONESAW IS READY and cut off the whole damn thing. Simple as that.

  • It must be that new technology where the DR. Iz doing a surgery from a shore in Hawaii and what you guyz juzt saw it's an animated version of what hiz seen butt it's really happening somewhere 1000z of milez away that would be beazt lol...I feel bad 4 ppl that need thiz I wish it never happenez 2 my family or me:^(

  • ghost surgeons

  • Comment removed

  • @travismakaveli123 I hope you don't mind me asking, but why do you need to have this done?

  • Comment removed

  • i wonder what they do with the leg after its been amputated.

  • @PomonaPunkRock recycle it.. ._.

  • Fascinating, how this person had no veins or arteries in that leg!!!

  • GHOST DOCTORS!!!!!

  • so damn hot

  • Thumbs up if you were looking for bonesaw runes ape pker

  • Wow if I dont use a weird machine for my leg my uncle (whos luckily a pro doctor) will need to do that to my leg and im scared cuz im only 10

  • @yoyoamanda1 well i have a snapped bone and theres not too much they can do but i dont have to get my leg cut off so im good!

  • @HurricaneFrog good luck

  • what do you do with the rest of the muscle?? i didn't see any distal insertion of them after the amputation.

  • It's more complicated to amputate the head just above the neck though.

  • gross

  • thumbs up if you watched this because of lady gaga

  • @lithium1997 What the fuck?!

  • @TotalnoModerna666 well i heard about it so i wanted to know what happens when you do leg amputation

  • @lithium1997 Where do you heard about it?

I mean, what sense has Lady Gaga to all of this? I am confused. O.o

  • @TotalnoModerna666 go find out yourself

  • Omg, this is horrible! :(

  • Cut to the chase gro malog!

nobody will ever get that reference...

  • ,y grndma has to do get a amputation :[

  • I totally came here searching for "amputation boop"

  • So, where in the body is the tibula located, Dr. Beatles? Maybe you should actually go to medical school instead of using that online degree your obviously so proud of.

  • I watched this after hearing about that man who had his legs amputated in the Christchurch Earthquake with just a a pocket knife and tradesman's hacksaw. I felt sick just watching this demo video and can only imagine how worse this would be for the guy and the Doctor who had to do the emergency removal.

  • I watched this after the Movie : 127 hours

  • @sujoms Same here

  • @sujoms me too :)

  • we got off on the wrong foot

  • lol make your own video then

  • it wasnt that bloody what I thought it would be

  • IM GOING TO GO BARF

  • The fastest way to do this procedure is to use an extremely sharp samurai sword and a torniquet. It can be all over in seconds. After that you dip the stump in a bucket of hot tar to seal it.

  • @humpyhustler

    LOL

  • what about the arteries??

  • I could have churned out tis procedure in like an eighth of the time.

    Step 1: Aquire Tomahawk

    Step 2: Hold above limb

Step 3: Scream "It's go time" very loudly

    Step4: Cut off leg

Step 5: leave extra skin for flap

  • welcome to the world of handicaps dude!

  • this is pretty fucking awesome

  • this looks easy but its harding than pupping a dead baby pig

  • Isn't there some sort of artery in the leg?

  • And thats the way to make the best sirloin stakes =P

  • dsrhgbdxfg FUCK....

  • How long would it take to heal completely?

  • Hey dad! can i just try something on you that i just learned on the computer.

  • seems easy enough

  • i thaught trauma center would be cooler...-_-

  • What if the doctor says "Oops, sorry I amputated the wrong leg".

  • @187prettyboy bigger medical bill for the second one

  • 3 of my mates are amputees, due to being in the armed forces and having limbs blown off, but yeah i have seen these procedures being done in front of me as i also served in the armed forces, and it may look simple to cut of a limb but it aint! you have to consider the main atteries cut them wrong and there is gonna be alot of blood and the person being operated on will have 5 mins before he or she bleeds to death very gory procedure if it goes wrong!

  • what do they do with the amputated part?!?!?!

  • @DCGats they cremate it and give it to the patient. excactly what they did with aron ralstons arm.

  • that looks like my dremel multi-max lmao

  • Its the most bullshit video ever.. its all wrong here.. the skin incision itself is wrong.. then the fibula is 2b transceted 2cm proximal to the fibula.. thats also wrong here.. the skin closure looks awful..

  • Bad video if you ask me.

And it will really suck for the amputee.

Doctor forgot to leave extra flesh for flap

    cut tibula shorter for comfort

File the ends of the bone and get rid of sharp edges.

leave wound open for a few days to allow for drainage and some healing.

I could go on and on.

  • @ostapslobodian Also might want to tie off a few arteries. I'm sure they bleed a lot. . .

  • @ostapslobodian I bet that wikipedia medical degree finally paid of for comments like these...

  • @Junije1

    Its not Wikipedia.

Search up "war surgery" and the poster is "Samedy09"

They are the first videos in the search.

Watch them all, them get back to me with your insults.

  • @ostapslobodian when did you become a surgeon?

  • Comment removed

  • @UnderlinedDesigns

Watch "War Surgery" by Samedy09 (all 5 or 6 parts).

    Then come back here.

  • @ostapslobodian Wonderful series of videos.

  • @ostapslobodian lol, tibula?

  • @ostapslobodian

why dont they put a titanium cup over the bones with screw in plugs so that it can all heal up but later a cut could be made an things could screw into the cups for false legs or an interesting dildo attachment.?

  • @tpvalley Troll

  • @ostapslobodian

    absolutely not!

my idea is serious apart from the dildo part.

  • @ostapslobodian let me guess, you watched "war surgery" by the red cross

  • @ostapslobodian what are you a doctor or something

  • @ostapslobodian are u a doc? if u are i need help in this shit

  • @TheMusicUnites No i'm not a doctor.

  • @ostapslobodian that sucks, judging your short comment, you know stuff in cuttin limbs!

  • @ostapslobodian are u a doc? if u are i need help in thus stufff

  • @ostapslobodian Wow i read ur comment and was shocked and felt bad... then i actually saw the video and it was just an animation an went "PHEW" xD

  • @xDontFaintx

LOL. I'm just concerned that some new doctors will do this on his first amputation and leave some poor guy in bad shape after.

  • @ostapslobodian do u have any expert exp on amputating legs

  • @ostapslobodian do you actually know shit about it or did you wikipedia it?

  • @F4ToContinue

    I didnt wikipidea it

I know from a video called War Surgey

And my Grandmother is a doctor

  • @ostapslobodian maybe u should be a specialist!!!!

  • @espana121 Thought about it before, but, I don't enjoy helping people, so I should not become a doctor.

  • @ostapslobodian oh. hahaha i see

  • Sharp blades!

  • Wheres the blood???

  • I could have saved that leg

  • what happened to the good old days when they just used a giant saw? :P

  • amen

  • hey if chicks with big boobs works at hooters where do people with one leg work at??? IHOP get it????? hahaha that looks painful

  • That was awesome. Being that I had my left foot amputated, that really was interesting. Wow, so very cool.

  • @76KHale that sucks...

  • Note the copyright "MEDICAL LEGAL ART"

This video was not made to instruct surgeons any more than it was made to inform patients of standard medical procedures. Just a grim video put together by a group of hustlers looking to prey on you

  • ill give ya 20 bucks for the foot.

  • this kind of surgery needs to employ Jason for some swift and clean cut.

  • uhhh, dont you gotta cap the bones and attach the muscles where severed to the bone?

and you attach the two caps together with a universal joint or ball-in-socket joint so he can still rotate his 'foot' when a prosthetic is fitted.

  • usually, yes they attach cut off arteries to the normally upstream veins, that is if they can. amputations are not accomodating to the doctors. you have to remove all the necrotic tissue or what will soon be dead tissue, but attaching when you can does save blood, but it mainly allow a full blood flow as far to the beginning of the stump as possible. one reason, you need a good blood flow at the stump to support moved skin or skin grap to be strong enough to be put weight on a prosthetic.

  • Ich finde diese Metalldinger so ekelig - die man im Bein bei schweren unfällen bekommt - wo so schrauben rein gehen

  • OH MY GOD! IT'S A CRIPPLE! I also love how the amputated foot is just sitting on the table at the end.

  • poor animated man...

  • the hardest part is to stitch up the wound and keep it clean...

  • im gonna try this on my club pickup because god told me to, wait wut

  • Hey now... don't wanna get nubbed over eh?

  • I got to see the above the knee amputation in person today (I'm a nursing student). It was really cool.

  • @togiishi not so cool for the person who just lost their leg

  • @beatles64c yet possibly saved their life from diabetic gangreen forinstance.

  • @beatles64c yeah obviously, why even point that out? It was cool as in, learning about the science of anatomy and the power of modern medicine.

  • ewww what do they do with the leftover leg???

  • @OriginialSnooks they cremate the leftover leg and give you the ashes

  • Just use a fucking macheté!

  • If you want a real amputation video, google "amputation." One of the first resutls is a video of an above-knee amputation, for real.

Not for the weak at heart.

Real ones probably aren't allowed on youtube because they're just so repulsive.

  • @galinuas i just saw the video you suggested and let me tell you OMFG that was just too graphic for me!! thanks for the recomendation though

  • @galinuas thx dude that helped

  • hell yeah hella dissapointed . thought it be real

  • i wonder what happened to its leg...

  • Had this done 6 months ago, I wish recovery was as quick

  • @jonfox2009 I had this done 6 weeks ago. The phantom pains are what KILL me.

  • I've seen this done about 10 times now. Takes just under 2 hours.

  • Damn I'm disapointed I thought it would be real..

  • I would much rather watch this backwards: Leg Putting-On-ation surgery

  • its so easy...why the doctors understand nothing???? why not help the lag??

  • @okoskutya35 you can't help a leg that hurt

  • they would save this leg instead of amputate if you are a president of America :)

  • chainsaw faster !!!

  • poor Terry fox!

  • I always wondered how an amputation was done

  • cough bionics cough.

  • To Daveyslingshot, you should do us all a favor and do yourelf in now, what a jerk!

  • daveyslingshot its clear that you should kill yourself anyway!

  • If I lost a limb I would kill myself in a heartbeat, I would never live that down, being a amputee means your chances with dates girls and sex would suck big time, the phantom pains, the physical restrictions of the handicap and not to mention how paranoid you would be made feel in public, I would hate it so much. Thank fuck death is a option if something like that was to happen,a deep lake would be a nice way out of that wrenched nightmare of a life .

  • @Daveyslingshot THIS IS SERIOUS, BUT YOU MADE ME LAUGHED, BUT IF YOU WERE TO WAKE UP IN THE HOSPITAL AND YOUR FEET IS GONE, would you have the guts to kill ya self?

  • @Daveyslingshot think of it this way now u can get that robotic limb. and u cant feel pain.

  • WHAT DISEASE DID HE HAVE THAT ATE HIS LEG IN THE BEGINNING?!?!

  • @Dooomrawr many possibilities, Gangrene, necrosis, a rare flesh eating disease, an unspotted compartment syndrome. for example a crushed leg from a road accident if not drained from the clotting blood would prevent blood reaching the vessels causing the tissue to become necrotic and die.

  • OWWWW WHY!!!!!?!?!

  • please tell me, is that guy ok??

  • whos doing the surgery ? this is creepy

  • WOW IT DOESNT BLEED!?!?!

  • I rather die with my leg bather like that, but stupid doctors will say "oh no we have to amputate that"

  • if i had cancer... i'd rather die of cancer with a leg, then die of cancer without a leg :/

  • @themrcheezburger

The idea here is to REMOVE the cancerous part of the leg, so that you won't die of cancer!!!

  • @K7DFA yes... but there is always a possibility that the cancer might start again afterwards... and also i don't think i can live knowing how much my leg got messed

  • @themrcheezburger NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ONEEEEE WIIILLL WANT TO HAVE CANCER!!!!!!!!!! NOW QUICKLY RUN AWAY FROM THIS VIDEO AND GO TO LINKIN PARK'S VIDEO and cool down and dont think about this paralyse sick stuff.....RUUUN!

  • Woher haben sie die Haut genommen bei 2:50?

  • @Rammstein8814

Möchte ich auch wissen. Wo genau die Hauttransplantation gemacht worden

    ist.

  • why did this make me hungry?

  • lol

  • The animated guy could have done us the courtesy of bleeding a lot . . . jeez!
