@jmdb1994 I had it, but I sold it to get this. The neck on the schecter is pretty great, but it's no wizard neck. Feels closer to a gibson style neck, but slimmer. Very nice guitars for the money.

why some freaks buy this kind of axe and later cut additional pups in ? there is many RG's with neck and single pickups available

Ibanez doesn't make a black RG with white binding, a 3 way switch and a neck pup in it. Nor do they make an RG that has single coil tapping the way I have it set up.

the Ibanez Rg2ex1 has white binding and black with Two humbuckers but no tremolo and the Ibanez mtm2 has the same thing but with tremolo but both dont have coil tap like yours. :P

Good to know, but I think the mtm2 came out after I purchased this ibanez. also consider that mine is a prestige that I bought new for 600$ (I have a friend who is an ibanez dealer). In either case, I would have pulled the crappy ibz pups anyway on the rg2ex1 or the mtm2.

This one, however, came with a killer duncan in the bridge, but still, that pup didn't sound as good as my dimarzio set I now have in this thing.

I love this guitar! I had a neck pup installed with a 3 way selector.

I put a breed in the bridge and an air norton in the neck with a 3way and push/pull volume to split the coils. So many tones out of it now.

how much did it cost you to route the guitar for a neck pickup?

I had a luthier do it and he was pretty in-expensive. he charged me 80$ total for the routing of the neck pup, the 3 way selector, the push/pull knob and the install of the 2 new pups. his routing wasn't the cleanest, but I also didn't pay a lot and it's something I can fix with some putty and paint.

im going to buy this guitar, but i dont know... how works the edge-zero bridge? Is it well? I tune in B, Is it easy to do?

This guitar is awesome! Sounds, plays and just feels great! The edge-zero seems to work fine. Tuning takes some time, but once it's locked in you'll be set.

I tuned it in Drop C, and it's fine. Agreed, once it's set.... it's set. You can leave it for weeks and it's still in perfect tune.

man...the RG with the wizard neck is my favorite guitar. I'm also wanting another RG series guitar. They are seriously amazing guitars and the necks are so nice to play on.
