I hit the wrong button, my reply was meant for ECWNET. Rodgers, May, Deacon & Taylor make a kick ass outfit certainly, but touting themselves as "Paul Rodgers & Queen" sullies the memory of Freddie. For example, Bad Co. is NOT Bad Co. without Paul Rodgers. Nor would "Free" be "Free" without Paul Rodgers. I'm hoping you can grasp the parallel. It's like "The Doors" with Ian Astbury...
wat was that????? dont cut freddie off halfway through a song...... not full version... not good version...but thanks anyway i did enjoy what little i heard of it......long live the queen!!!
Don't get me wrong, on the merits of his work with Free, Paul Rodgers IS a force to be reckoned with but Freddie is irreplaceable, no matter HOW kick ass the proposed vocalist is; I really thought Brian, John & Roger were intelligent/sussed enough to grasp that....or am I being hopelessly naive here??
That Paul Rodgers is an amazing vocalist, Freddie Mercury was an amazing vocalist however, but trying to induct Paul Rodgers into "Queen" is similar to the remaining "Doors" inducting Ian Astbury into the fold. While Rodgers/May/Deacon/Taylor are are force to be reckoned with musically, they are NOT Queen. End of.
I can't blame them for wanting to continue the music. I'll never see Queen live, unless they decide to come to my door and play a concert just for me. But I can't blame them. I do blame them however when I hear a song in a commercial or something like that.
I think every music video ever made sucks, too much abrupt footage change. And they never portray things as well as I always see in my head (Live performances are even much better than those irritating cerebral videos). But, if you have a good song it doesn't matter as much, and that's always the case with Queen. Every song is awesome, so it's allright that all music videos suck.
actually a song is made for listening and than to be seen, optional, anyways the song will sound the same. you're right a good song doesn't necessarly needs a good video and allways is the other way ....
couldn't agree with you more, my God, this was Queen at their penultimate, the band was tighter than a snare drum and Freddie's vocal gymnastics - beyond breathtaking! and that scream he uses at the end to punctuate the song makes you just think "whoa!". superb video tribute this was as well...
Brian May, you truly are a god.

Take this Avice:
1. put your finger on your nose
2. hold your breath for 5 seconds
3. say the name of your love
4. that person will ask you out on the next Friday
5. you will have the best day tomorrow
6. if you don't copy and paste to 2 other videos you will have bad luck and die in 2 days

Wahnsinn, was Queen 1977 schon für perfekte Videoclips produziert haben - bloß warum nur so kurz.
Und "It's late" ist eines der besten Queen songs!
Der Regisseur was offenbar Nylonliebhaber! Warum nicht?

the intro sounded the beginning of Hammer to Fall, the slow version they played with Paul Rodgers... doesn´t it?
Great song anyway....

Yes, I agree with you. When did I disagreed with you in the first place? I said this song (It's Late) is a great song... Isn't it??

No, I agree with you 100%, it's just that what you had said before had nothing to do with what you were replying to.

Ah, I see, I think it's a case of me not articulating myself properly, accept my apologies.

What a masterpiece. Classic drums, excellent ground-bass, brilliant vocals, obviously, an all round classic for me.
Indeed, QUEEN rule.

Really, the one on News of the World lasted more than +6 Minutes, is this the single edit? I think it must have been edited for the 45 rpm.
