  • This song is the most beautiful thing that humanity has been graced to hear. Thank you Beethoven. My only regret of his time its that he could not hear his own work.

  • @Shalgrom I could not agree more with you my friend. Thank you so much! :-)

  • @Shalgrom This is the pure sound and force of human forgiveness. thank you for sharing.

I'm so glad everyone is enjoying it. :-)

  • Seid umschlungen, millionen.

Come back to this video at least once a month, it's just brill :D

Also I see you have been discussing stephen king a little, my favourite author of all time, currently digging into his magnum opus, The Dark Tower series... for the third time :D

  • @jameilious Oh wow - thank you so much for that! I'm so glad you enjoyed my vid. :-)

Cool! I too am a big fan of Stephen King. I've read alot of his books - but nothing currently.

  • brilliant, if someone told him his work would be shared such as this in the future he would have thought you insane

  • @jameilious Thank you so very much! I'm so glad you enjoyed. :-)

Oh - could you imagine trying to tell Beethoven about the internet & YouTube? Yup - he would have you committed - that's for sure! LOL

  • @mdragon180 Also this particular rendition I first heard in a video game called "peggle," it took me a while to find it one youtube. it is my favourite version, very powerful

  • @jameilious Cool! That's very interesting. I can't remember where or when I first heard this - but I just know it has always been my absolute favorite piece of classical music. Right before Canon in D.

Thank you so much. Again - I'm so glad you enjoyed. Take care. :-)

  • @jameilious Really? My favorite version of the Ode to Joy, or at least a part of it, comes from a show called "Gunslinger Girl." It's an a capella version of the song, and it sounds... wonderful.

  • absolutly love it!

  • @AerosmithNTheBeatles Thank you so very much! Really appreciate your comment & I'm so glad you enjoyed. :-)

  • That was great.......thumbs up. Thank you so much.

I am glad I was allowed to listen and to watch your video.

Unfortunately it is forbidden for Germans to watch your newest videos (because of the music). :-(

  • @Versibus Thank you so very much my dear friend! I'm so happy you enjoyed. :-)

Oh - I know & I'm am sooo very sorry about my vids that get banned in Germany. I really get upset too when YouTube does that. It's so unfair. My next few vids will probably be banned too - but I promise to make more vids with less copyrighted music soon.

And If there is any fav music of your's you would like to see a vid of - please let me know & I'll be more than happy to make a vid for you. :-)

  • 3 weeks ago i watch a great documentary on beethoven, it was over 2 hours long. it was fantastic qand so is this video.

    michael

  • @mettanc Oh wow - that sounds so interesting. I just love Beethoven.

Oh - thank you so very much my friend! I really appreciate that. :-)

  • Ironic that this was featured so prominently in

"A Clockwork Orange" because it's so

    deeply religious.

  • @tomken8dy Yeah - I know! I'm sure there's probably some deep meaning to it. Either that or maybe Kubrick was being ironic on purpose?

Also - like the music in The Shining. Such beautiful music on it's own - but leave it to Kubrick to make it creepy! Thanks so much for your comment friend. Really appreciate it. :-)

  • @mdragon180

In the BOOK, "A Clockwork Orange," the street

gangs wore black "platties of the evening."

Kubrick used white, light, clear glass, distance

and echos effects to represent darkness, coldness,

human beings literally distanced from each other

in a moral and emotional wilderness.

I never read The Shining. I don't think so, anyway....

  • @tomken8dy Yes - Kubrick was a true artist at his craft. I love just about all his movies. Except for Eyes Wide Shut - that I didn't care for.

The Shining - I have read the book & seen the movie (many times). Two very different interpretations. King didn't like Kubrick's version for a number of reasons - but I actually like the movie more than the book. It's a true classic - in my opinion. :-)

  • @mdragon180

    Ever read, "The Running Man?"

Toss that Arnold action crap movie into the trash

That movie took King's work and mutilated it.

  • @tomken8dy Oh Lord! Don't even get me started on Schwarzenegger movies! My hubby loves him - but I can't stand most of his movies. Except for The Terminator 1 & 2 - I must admit - I actually liked those.

No - I've never read "The Running Man" book. I've seen the movie - it was ok - but I'm sure the book was WAY better. I'll be sure to read it sometime. Thanks friend. :-)

  • @mdragon180

The book is REALISTIC. Dark, grimy, depressing.

The ending is very mixed but satisfying, in a

    "depressing" way.

I like the Terminator movies too.

    Those were his best movies.

  • @tomken8dy idk man i liked Clockwork Orange. Also there's an issue of Johnny The Homicidal Maniac where he's listening to this song in his cd player as he slaughters all the people in the coffee shop, and a youtube video to support it.

  • @smcklveen Thank you so very much Sue! I'm so glad you enjoyed.

Oh - I so do too! Beethoven is the master. :-)

  • Hi Deborah,

    Thanks for the fine video!

Very nice choral piece..... and really fascinating images also!

  • You make such amazing videos!! Great editing!! My Mom use to play Beethoven all the time,, ur videos bring back many memories to me!! Many blessings!! :)

  • @NaturesFairy Thank you so very much my friend! Aww - that's so sweet. My dad was a huge lover of classical music too. I'm so happy you enjoyed. Blessings & luvs :-)

  • wow this is great wouldnt you get copyrighted because you copied the song

  • @yuiritsumiomugiazusa Thank you so very much my friend! So glad you enjoyed. :-)

No - if there was any copyright infringement - YouTube would have banned the video or muted the audio - which they have done to me before. As long as I agree to their terms & don't try to take any personal credit for (or try to profit from) the production of the music - it's ok. It all depends on who owns the rights to the music - if you will be allowed to use it or not. That's why I use cover versions alot.
