There is absolutely no foundation, either in history of that time or in the Bible for the implication or innuendo, that the Latin word IOUDAIOUS, or the English word JUDEAN (properly translated) had any religious connotation. Any honest Bible scholar should immediately recognize that this word has only a geographical, not a religious meaning.
