The difference between this and the boosh, despite the similar sense of humour, is that the boosh was quality. This is Noel Fielding trying too hard. I like Noel generally, but it seems to me that he created this for the express purpose that people would think he is 'weird' and 'out there'. It sort of gives the impression that you have to like and be interested in Noel to enjoy this, which I find quite arrogant.

not to sound horrible, but Noel needs Julian to make the series work. in the Boosh, Noel covered the surreal aspects while Julian covered the wit and comedy aspects. It just doesn't work with just surrealism.

So much hate, it's a shame. They put alot of work into this show. You can not compare it to the Boosh or anything else. So what if it doesn't look perfect to you or the accents are off, who gives a shit, look at it for what it is worth - a televised art piece. Art isn't perfect and neither is this but atleast he has the balls to do exactly what he wants and does not compromise for anyone or anything. What a fabulous mind and show!

Freedom of speech I have absolutly no problem with, but when people make awful and rude comments about something that has not even shown its potential I get a pissed off. This show is not for everyone clearly and makes the Boosh look mainstream really, there is no room for comparison between the two and it seems that is all people want to do, that and not have an imagination or sense of humor.
