  • ugly and she cant even say what she wants to bid right.... just eww.

  • why was the lady so happy to fucking lose? :-/

  • Where is his $500?

  • Ah Jeeze, Capetown, South Africa for a vacation spot? What happened? Were they overbooked at the Baghdad Hilton?

  • its not cheating if you done your research

  • How could he cheat? Give me a break. If he did? So what, good for him.

  • Only 2 black members in the crowd?

  • Notice he said "hasn't happened since 72 or 73"? That means it's happened before. The rule of chance says that it will happen again, no matter how unlikely. The fact that there are so many different episodes means that there are so many chances to get it exactly right. Just because something is incredibly unlikely doesn't mean that the outcome was unfairly influenced. Saying he cheated just because it's rare is like telling lottery winners that they cheated. That doesn't make any sense.

  • Drew doesn't get excited because he is thinking, "This guy's a cheater!"

  • she was like 0-0, then she was like -_-

  • Watch his mouth when drew says 23,743. It's almost like he was expecting drew to say that. Or maybe I'm wrong.

  • under 50k worth of stuff

    who gives a fuck?

  • @TheJazzSwings i like the part where he won 56,437 dollars and you said it was under 50k. good job.

  • @Thoraxe555 I like the part where you gave a fuck.

  • @TheJazzSwings aww dont be mad because you cant watch a video all the way through before commenting. it's ok. people might still love you... but i doubt it.

  • no cheating, you all are just jealous

  • did they have internet capable phones in 2008???

  • @Strotkyle The Iphone came out in '07 i believe

  • @Strotkyle The Nokia I had in 2000 was internet capable...

  • I used to Caddy for this guy, Terry Niece, he's one of Bob Barkers close friends. funny how he knew the exact price.

  • fuck Americans, I'm from Canada and I take offence to that

  • racist

  • Comment removed

  • @isabellcarmen Are you a Canadian? Because you type like a complete retard.

  • had to have the black girl next to the south africa pic smh

  • TWO CLOSEST PRICES EVER

  • even if he knew the exact price, who the in the right mind would use that? it had to be luck no?

  • how can drew be so calm about that

  • Not Only Terry Got It Right On The Nose He Wins Both Showcases!

  • what a hacker...

  • The Links In The Description Don't Work.

  • I wanted to watch the video not get spammed with 500 annotations. Sheesh!

  • and people who say eh!!! lol X}

  • Are you allowed to skip the South Africa and Chicago parts of the trip?

  • Comment removed

  • People look at the audiance all the time, people are always fingering the anwsers(giggity)

  • AND HE DID IT ALL WITH HIS NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW CALCULATOR!!!!

  • Jeez, Drew, I know you're still pissed that Whose Line Is It Anyway got cancelled but SHOW SOME EMOTION!

  • Drew Carry Doesn't Give No Fuck!

  • @NickTastical12 actually there was about 45 minutes between the prizes being presented and the reveal of the prices. the 45 minutes were to make sure that guy didn't cheat. Drew was worn out

  • Something doesn't add up. If the guy didn't know the prices but Drew said "that's a very exact bid" then technically he did cheat. Now this has happened to me on the wii version (because it cycles the prizes back every so often) so I know what to bid. But still how could he have known the exact bid?

  • 1: Who gives a fuck if he cheated or not. None of you were there. It doesn't effect you at all.

2: Video maker is probably the black chick. Very jealous :3

  • @psychodog11, why is the video maker black? please keep your racist comments to yourself

  • @niggaflies I was insinuating the video maker is the black woman in this video. Not being racist.

  • The guy cheated. Someone told him the price to bid, or he saw it on a card or something.

  • And Wind.

  • Drew Carry is a TERRIBLE host... it's like he doesn't even give a flying shit what just happened or is going on around him! Seriously, is he on Valium or Ativan or something?

  • @macrent2 Nobody will ever be as good as Bob Barker, he was the Price is Right and made the show what it was. Drew Carry was a bad choice to replace Bob.

  • @lickdacat2 Ellen Degeneres would have been a kick ass replacement! But, she already is filming during that time slot!

  • I remember this one. Not sure why you didn't include this, but this guy also won the original showcase (which gets him on stage) by getting it exactly on the nose as well, then he went on to get 1 dollar on the wheel.

Also, I love how Drew was more enthusiastic about the spay/neuter than about a guy getting right on the nose after almost 40 years lol.

  • LOL if u heard drew he said wow exact bid good luck.. drew already knew

  • @34mystery You didn't comprehend what he said correctly.

  • Drew knew the guy nailed it before he announced the scores. I guarantee you a producer told him in advance, as well as arming him with the fact that it, "hadn't happened since 72 or 73..."

  • @eimsand yeah because drew even says "wow thats a very exact bid"

  • You could at least PRETEND to sound excited Drew. You're in the Price is Right, not a Dentist's Convention.

  • Wish you could bid in cents as well.

  • Another thing, how would this guy in the audience be able to calculate that....What he has the exact value of each of these things when they would differ in soo many different places?!?

  • @dhstandard22 Because Price does (did more often before this) repeat exact prizes. I go over this in the annotations.

The guy in the audience made it a point to memorize as much as he could.

  • @WayoshiM actually he appeared on radio and he was looking to his wife who did indeed finger a 2 and 3... but the rest of it he blurted out on his own... and thought he overbid on though he was very familair with prices from past shows.

  • @WayoshiM

That's not cheating. We are taught to do this for test taking so why can't we apply it in what we call real life?

  • @WayoshiM he studied didnt cheat you jealous fuck!!

  • lol the guy invented planking !!! on the pool table. way to go ass hole ruin the earth a little more.

  • how much luck cana man have????

  • Wow. Drew Carey doesn't even give a fuck.

  • @tsbwell he mentioned in an interview somwhere, becuase of all the controversy around the win, he didn't think this was gonna air.

  • cant tell if trolling....

  • @KyleCHaight D: Your video got blocked.

  • Both links are broken.

  • Canadians do not say Aea! (or however you spell it). At least I don't.

  • @WOmegrez110 Eh?

  • how could he have known the exact price?

  • i think you are crazy

  • Calm down Drew!!!!

  • Ya im sorry but i think this was a publicity stunt by the Price is Right. The guy claims to have known the pool table was around $3000 and he had seen the karaoke machine a few weeks before for $1175. He knew the rule of thumb was a grand per foot of the trailer. OK. But being a super veteran fan like he was, he wouldn't have bid anywhere close to a number where he could have gone over. The price is right just wanted some publicity and it looks like it worked if im here right now.

  • @ErakBurnin Actually the cooker that he won in contestants row was $1175. The karaoke machine was only $1000. He also thought the trailer was 19 feet.

  • excuse me sir, you have taxes you have to pay on those prizes LOL! The price one pays for the exact bid. And actually I don't know how that all works. I've heard stories that taxes apply to the merchandise you win. And I just read an article explaining just that. Make an ass of yourself on a game show and get hit with taxes. Might be fun to watch but in the end is it really worth playing. The free car is never free.

  • too bad it doesnt was million dollar spectacular

  • Go Canada!

  • Thumbs up if you don't mind the annotations and find it even more intriguing!

  • he cheated only looking the bid without anyone knowing about it off camera

  • he cheated

  • drew carey didnt actually show emotion cuz he knew he would take it

its pre planned even the other contestant know it

  • That poor woman. She thought she had the game sealed. But I vaguely believe this was legit. I'm sure that in the decades this show has been on the air, they're more than likely to show some prizes more than once. And, people who watch religiously are BOUND to see a prize that they've seen before

  • fake

  • My guess would be that someone off-camera had a "holy shit he did it" kind of moment and and told Drew through his earpiece. They had to finish the taping, but my guess is they were openly discussing not airing it, or trying to figure out how not to award it to him. Drew, being aware of the discussions, phoned it in assuming it wouldn't be seen.

  • HACKS!!! lol

  • Holy shit...

  • what's funny is if the lady changes her bid like she seemingly wanted to, she would've only made it worse. And she did the same thing as the guy did, by placing a specific dollar amount. Normally she would've won!

  • FAKE

  • you are the idiot of the centry for first uploading this then doing something stupid and saying stupid shiet about this. Clearly this guy did his homework and has seen these before on The Price Is Right

  • FAIL HAHAHAHA

  • racist but funny.

They give the oriental girl karaoke ;)

    White girl shows the trailer

& the Lebanese /Spanish looking guy shows off the pool table

    how appropriate

  • Barney Stinson did better

  • Calm down Drew! No need to get all crazy

  • damn she's got "summer teeth". Some are here some are there.

  • Wow that host is lame

  • links don't work anymore

  • Take it easy there Drew, no need to get that excited!

  • Host: A difference of....494 dollars

Sharon: OH YEAH B*TCH YOU AINT GONNA BEAT ME MINE SO F*CK*N CLOSE YOU AINT BEATIN ME HAAAA

    Host: A difference of.....0

    Sharon: PEDOBEAR!

  • Does anybody else see him slightly mouthing the actual retail price when Drew reads it off the card?? That strikes me as somewhat odd.

  • Ha, Her teeth were so fucked up even she can't understand what price she said

  • Drew has to be the worst game show host I've ever seen..

  • hahaha, am I the only one that noticed the trips in the second showcase got progressively more racist?

  • HMMM, MY GUESS IS ITS A SET UP DUE TO THE FACT THAT I USED TO WATCH THE SHOW RELIGIOUSLY, AND HAVE NEVER HEARD DREW SAY WOW AFTER SOMEOONE PUT IN THEIR BID, HE ALSO SEEMD A BIT OVER CONFIDENT IN THE GUYS BID, MY CONCLUSION IS ITS FAKE, THE GUY HAD INSIDE KNOWLEDGE, HOW DO U GUESS THE EXACT PRICE IN UNDER 5 SECONDS WITH ALL THAT NOISE AND DISTRACTION, AND WITHOUT EVEN THINKING, PLUSS DREW ADMITS ITS AN EXACT BID, WOW, AND HE WASNT FIRED FOR THIS

  • @pvtread He said Exact, like it was really precise, not exact like he knew it was right

  • HMMM, MY GUESS IS ITS A SET UP DUE TO THE FACT THAT I USED TO WATCH THE SHOW RELIGIOUSLY, AND HAVE NEVER HEARD DREW SAY WOW AFTER SOMEOONE PUT IN THEIR BID, HE ALSO SEEMD A BIT OVER CONFIDENT IN THE GUYS BID, MY CONCLUSION IS ITS FAKE, THE GUY HAD INSIDE KNOWLEDGE, HOW DO U GUESS THE EXACT PRICE IN UNDER 5 SECONDS WITH ALL THAT NOISE AND DISTRACTION, AND WITHOUT EVEN THINKING

  • @pvtread shaddup look up the interview where he watched previous shows on the pricing quit being a hater and STFU fag

  • 1000 per foot in the trailers and half of the stuff is always on the show and rounded off to about 1000 each...the guy had been to the show over 90 times...I think he knew the prices to start and thats not cheating...and yeah he is looking to his family....you aren't even allowed to take phones in or anything so they couldn't cheat and his wife also was as smart as him...maker of this video is a dumbfuck

  • @dhstandard22 either that...... or he was just plain and simply lucky.... it was bound to happen one of these days lol

  • @dhstandard22 exactly- he did his homework and quote" most of these prizes were already on the show" now if he is a huge PR Fan and didnt win, I think his family and friends would have a big laugh- love how Drew just spews off the ramble about getting your pets spayed lol

  • trailers 1000 dollars per foot...the guy was calculating all the way

  • @dhstandard22 Vegas dudes must be very smart. To back this up, I recall a boy from vegas on brainsurge that won and currently has the second fastest win on the paths to victory and the fastest time on the 6x6.

  • he wasn't excited cuz he just lost his bonus lolol

  • esquire .com/features/impossible/price-is-right-perfect-bid-0810 to find out what happened

  • did this guy win everything you saw in both showcases is that true? does anybody know?

  • NICE PAGE YO.....if u love WEED and HIP HOP get at me....try not to laugh at my baby...ull understand wen u visit...peace/love/music...JIGGADREW thenewsies..-----------SUB YA-----------

  • "and people who say 'Eh!'"

  • If i was that lucky, I would go buy the lottery and win like 200 million

  • It last happened during the Gerald Ford Administration! That's how long it's been since a person has bid the exact price of a showcase showdown!!!!!

  • They should have given him $100,000 extra for guessing right on the nose

  • There's HUNDREDS of contestants. THOUSANDS, since the last time this happened. I play at home, all of the time, and I can't tell you how many times I've come within a few bucks. Why CAN'T this happen? If you WERE going to cheat, you wouldn't call the number ON THE NOSE. Sometimes, people get lucky. I saw a kid once, win everything possible-on his birthday. Did HE cheat? (Or nearly possible.) It's almost sour grapes to say he cheated. You sound jealous. This was purse luck.

  • Could of had a family member at home looking up the prices online as the items are announced. That person could of texted one of his friends in the crowd who held up the number of fingers that he should bid. Can you bring cell phones with you on the show?

  • @dustinmturner34

    wouldn't work that fast.

  • @dustinmturner34

But if u did that its rare that u would get it exactly right even if u look online what if u are over by $1 or something really small

  • Drew has the same amount of emotion as a sardine in a can.

  • Haha at 0:11 the model on the right is Jenny Swanson from Hard Times of RJ Berger

  • Drew is a fucking idiot. How can someone not have any emotion at all when something like this happens. Though pretty sure they are just faking all these DSW's and perfect bids. A perfect bid did happen in Barkers series early on in the show btw.. More to the point, Drew Carey sucks at hosting TPiR.

  • This explains everything. Well written article too. ht tp :// w w w. esquire. com/features/impossible/price-is-right-perfect-bid-0810-2

Make sure you take the spaces out.

  • 0:08 what the fuck is she trimming her lips?

  • If i had all those hot showcase women...id fuck them so hard they could barely stand...

  • @Seldanas

    Yeah, you're a real stud.

  • cheater

  • Your conspiracy theory would be much more believable if you didn't call the guy in the audience his LFaT. That has to be one the most ridiculous labels ever. That just makes you sound crazy and mentally askew just like most conspiracy theorists.

  • cant belive drew was so emotionless...who cares if he cheated...ur salary doesnt change...and i think the show can afford this. amazing moment in the game show history..and like every other great moment in life theres a ridicolous amount of people trying to discredit it.

  • He got it right on because he was a fan that actually TRIED to win. He watched the show enough to know the cost of each item.

  • 5:05 idiot

  • black chick just ruined!!

  • lol...even drew seems to be thinking "Bull shit!"

  • I don't know what the big deal is. Statistically his chances of getting that number exactly right were way better than guessing a powerball number. His odds at guessing that number were probably better than getting hit by lighting (lol).

  • it has happened when bob hosted it too...i have been watching price is right sence 1979...... also Catheryn Bauch "Daisey Duke" was a contestant in the mid 80's

  • And another good reason to hate Drew Carey post-Whose Line. He has no business carrying the greatest game show in existence.

  • They found out later there was a ringer in the audience helping him and other contestants to win that day. Drew already knew ahead of time that Terry had won and that the producers suspected wrong-doing. That's why he shows NO emotion when the guy wins. There's a great article about it in this month's issue of Esquire (Bill Clinton is on the cover).

  • Politics. New producer replacing a fired producer. They figured that it was a revenge tactic, and basically figured the show would never go to air.

I'm actually surprised that Terry was the first to do this. I've seen the show enough times to recognize that the prices NEVER changed, and when they did, it didn't even make up for modest inflation (although I guess inflation's never modest).

Months of hard studying and a lazy prize staff equals the eventual perfect showcase.

  • @autoversemusic Also, interestingly enough, since PIR is now filmed (I think) in HD, or at least with high quality cameras (definitely the masters are higher resolution than standard definition), a casino security/forensics guy can analyze Terry's reaction. If he cheated, he wouldn't be overcome by emotion (pupil dilation/constriction, subtle changes in skin color, and shakyness/clumsiness).

  • @autoversemusic Also consider that others might have tried Terry's technique to get within $200 above or below the showcase. Assume a low bet (avoid going over), this means each one had a 1/200 shot at perfection. If a "Terry" popped up once every 100 shows, with 5200 filmed since VCRs were available, that's 52/200 or a 26% chance of a perfect educated guess in 25 years. Add the probability of a random-correct guess (1/40,000 * 5200 = 13%), you have a 39% chance at a perfect guess over 25 years.

  • I just read an article about this. According to an interview with Terry, he and his wife studied the show themselves, and he made the guesses on his own, with a little help from his wife. He wasn't looking to the guy Sharon pointed out to him earlier, but his wife. The producers of the show weren't upset because they thought he was cheating (well, maybe a little). It was mostly because someone had cracked a game that was supposed to be uncrackable.

  • all the PIR staff were pissed, even drew. they thought for sure that guy had cheated. but either that guy or "ted" in the audience (or both) were just big fans of the show and really good with numbers.

  • I don't think he cheated... He just didn't feel like giving round figures like most people usually do.

    .

I actually hate it when they give round figures when bidding on a showcase, for some odd reason.

  • Why is every one hating on drew, hes a good host, very entertaining

  • @MrDeadlyBones because he reacted to an event that will (probably) never happen in the show's lifetime like it was a regular showcase win.

  • "MrDeadlyBones": Don't get me wrong, I like Drew on The Price Is Right, but I think he belongs on Whose Line Is It Anyway?.

  • @MrDeadlyBones You must be a pretty dull person to think Drew is a good host. The guy has no personality and acts like he hates his job... maybe he doesn't, but he definitely conveys it.

  • To avert this, TPiR needs to vary their prizes. I'll go on and hit the showcase on the nose at this rate.

  • i watch 1972 there was never a bid on the nose at all

  • he should have gone for 23700 and no one will complain about him cheating

  • @thnguyen24 thats becasue he dint cheat casue if he was why would he bet exact amount.

  • @albaniansf24 i know, that's why i said what i said "-.-

  • "thnguyen24": He didn't feel like giving a round figure. I wouldn't have given one.

  • For the people that aren't going to the links in the description:

THE SHOW WAS STOPPED FOR OVER 20 MINUTES WHILE IT WAS BASICALLY DESCRIBED TO DREW THAT HE HIT AN EXACT BID, HENCE THE LACK OF SURPRISE ON EVERYONE'S FACE... Seriously, stop ragging on Drew when you can't even read the full description of the video.

Also, the girl freaks out because she knew she didn't bid high enough to be a DSW (Wait, I said 30?! Then ticked turn away at reveal), I think they both knew.

  • @Spelich Drew should've (at the very least) feigned excitement due to the nature of this bid. Who knows if we'll ever see a perfect showcase bid ever in Price's lifetime.

  • If you watch the show a lot, you tend to learn that there's a pattern to every game, and even the showcases. One example, Cliffhanger, the prizes are always $20-$25 for the first, $30-$35 for the second and $40-$45 for the final. Squeezeplay, it's usually the highest number that's the correct one to leave.

  • if he got a perfect bid he should of gotten 10million dollars

  • omg :D i live in scotland! and EVEN NEAR EDINBRAH :O :D

  • damn drew carey is boring, he didnt even show any emotion about this, if it was Bob it would have been way more exciting

  • And how would the person in the audience know? This guy was on a radio show, he had a system and was very well educated on typical prices for showcase items.

  • He cheated if you watch the whole episode he even gets the one bid at the beginning perfect too.

  • the crowd was slow to react because they thought drew was reading the bid twice. and it did not help that drew was acting half dead.

  • Never even with Bob Barker? Drew says it happened in the '70s. They years he mentions are the first 2 years Bob hosted.

  • From watching TPIR since the 1980's I have actually guessed 2 showcases to the dollar and countless others to within $250. Pricing games are totally easy for me to guess right and if I ever had a chance to spin the wheel a light pull to spin it once and land on the $1.00 once would be easy but even easier would be a lighter spin to land on the $1.00 again... A few times during 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' I have also guessed right the letter sequence of answers before I hear the questions...

  • If I were the host, before revealing the prize, I would've said, "Can you believe this?" Drew couldn't believe it either! Now Terry is going down in Price is Right history as the first greatest Showcase bidder of all time!

  • Two excellent bits.

  • whoever thinks the guy cheated is a fucking moron. obviously hes looking at one person...his wife. heard the guy on the radio talking about it. he had done his homework before this and knew the price of things..and if youre smart at all, you know that trailers are typically 1000 bucks a foot...17 feet is roughly 17 grand...thousand for the karaokee and give or take 3 for the pool table. after that it was a guess

  • @sfcougars45 Yes, "homework". How does he do homework? How did he study? I do not think the interviewer asked these questions. Also, how does the wife know things?
