  • He doesn't have license plates, because he doesn't want the cops to know its him, and if they try to chase him, he can lose them in 5-10 seconds....

  • Nice guy. God bless him.

  • should criss cross that exhaust with a couple borlas

  • KILL THE MUZAK

  • i would have added a car version of 3 deuce or better dual auto-lite 4100"s

  • looks like platform of the first batmobile in a way, very very cool.

  • british beat music....rockers and mods

  • I'm italian and i love Ferrarri, Maserati and Alfa Romeo, but this car is very very fantastic. Great!

  • damn this car was built in 1966? seems to advance for it's time.

  • who is the idiot driving like this on a local street and the car does not have license plates on it. "Totally Fucked Up"

  • I would like to stuff a Dove Manufacurting 700 hp all aluminum Can AM injected 427 Tunnel Port it and them headers can stay.

  • can this cowboy shift ?not !

  • @CommercialVehicle He's purposely revving it while the clutch is half way engaged to break the tires loose. I use to do it in my Mustang. Fun, but not good for your clutch. Im sure he can shift, hes just having fun.

  • would be a excellent video if it didn't have the hillbilly music so the car could actually be heard

  • Car too loud. What song is playing in the background The Ventures?

  • my car would eat that if he went in reverce or first gear maybe have a shot

  • Its like a perfect blend of a musclecar and a supercar.

  • you don't need to win the lotto to buy a superformance

  • his Viagra substitute.

  • Hate music in videos - Love this song though.. Reminds me of my best friend who just died to months ago - anyone knows the title?? Thanks and kudos to the GT,, Wonderful machine!!

  • @shelbaya1

The songs are done by the Ventures. The second one at 2:10 is Penetration. I can't remember the title of the first one and it is driving me crazy.

  • @shelbaya1

The first song is Diamond Head by the Ventures

  • One the most sexiest cars ever.......

  • great sound

  • he does not know how to drive it!

  • @BigT00001

    but he has one^^

  • excellent point! :-)

  • He bangs the clutch out so hard in 2nd that it kills the tires.

  • Turn the friggin' music off so we can hear the goddamn car you inbred banjo playing mouthbreathing short bus riding windowlicker!!!

  • WOW!

I love this car from SPF!!!

  • Aww man, the Gt40's are such awesome cars, but I didn't need to say that now did I?

  • That car is beutiful especially for a 66 model design. Ford should have never got out of the super car business.

  • I really liked the music

    what is it ?

    the car is mind blowing

  • the 40 in GT40 stands for 40 inches tall that's what i was told anyways

  • FUCK THE MUSIC

  • @cobra3289 The music is kind of like t surf msic of the period...kind appropriate actually.

  • I am 6foot 4 and 240lbs can I fit ?

  • Keefer

I am 6 foot 1 and 210 and there is plenty of room for me.

If you notice over the driver there is a bump in the roof. It is called the Gurney bump because the original driver of the race car in 1966 was Dan Gurney and he was 6 ft 6 in tall

The new Superformance still has that bump.

Go to a Superformance dealer and check one out, or a car show. Thanks David

  • noooo not at all. you may notice when the girl gets out of the car, you can see on his side he added a bubble on his door to give him head room. you're better off buying a new model one. just as cool in my opinion and more dependable. plus you can squeeze over 1500 horses out of the new ones.

  • The driver (owner) has been replaced...the car has been sorted and the rich running engine corrected. The brakes updated, front canards added, and the transmission rebuilt. It now sports Nurburgring stamps....and screams.

  • Awesome car, you COULD hear the tires breaking loose as it got up to redline. What a fantastic replica. The driver reminds me of Carol Shelby.

  • thats why the elderly shouldn't be able to drive, especially a supercar!

  • Say that to Carol Shelby...

  • does this guy know how to change gears for goodness sake!

  • This guy changed gears before there was blink in your fathers eye.

  • Do you have any idea what he was trying to do when he revved and 'mis-shifted'?

  • Wow, I never realized it was so small haha.

  • The "40" in GT40 refers to the hight of the thing. 40 inches isn't much:-)

  • almost 4 feet tall

  • I love how people with the cool toys cant shift for shit. "Well give her a whirl and see what she'll do" then completely lets us all down with BAD driving. Fuckin tool. The only way I get to live the GT is through shit ass videos like that.

  • how often do u think it get driven... mostlikey never... so yah he probably cant drive the car to its poteintal, and im sure he doesnt want to whipe it out

  • Car was driven at Nurburgring in Germany week of July 12th. and not by the joker in the cowboy hat. The car is now returning to the SE US.

  • It was breaking its wheels loose... i'm pretty sure he doesnt wanna risk wrecking that beauty of a car...

  • Its a kit, who cares.

  • Not a kit.. chassis number GT40-P-21xx, 427FE, ZF transmission. Do you know your GT40s?

  • In the title it clearly says its built by superformance

  • License by SAFIR who holds the rights to the name GT40, VIN numbers, manufacture of the cars, and replacement parts for ALL GT40-P-xxxx chassis. Parts are interchangeable with ALL cars within the MK series style. The car is titled as a 1966. Most earlier cars were built by FAV and shipped to Shelby American, Holman Moody, and FAV Europe for final assembly.

Like a bat out of Zuffenhausen I left the new Porsche Museum and factory two weeks ago. Want to compare Porsches?

  • and I thank god for that. the last thing we need is someone like you taking one of these 140 mph down the interstate.

  • I hear ya on that one,........If you got the money beat the balls off of it. Its not even the real deal, its a kit car.

  • esto es un auto ,es mi auto favorito el de mis sueños

  • looks/sounds like Shelby himself. anyone know?

  • wow.. is it supposed to be that small though?

  • Yes. They built this as almost an exact copy of the original. Scale is right. They were very small cars. Enough room for the drive train and a driver and not much more.

    The GT is substantially larger.

  • how fast can it go??

  • very nice car

  • One of the coolest sounding cars ever and you have surf music covering it up.

  • What Are you guys Deaf ??? I hear the motor just fine!!!!

  • phone videos suck; sound is garbled anyways

  • 427 is the only way to go with those cars. gotta love the 7.o

  • wt the hell is happenin wen he shifts to second??? is it spinnin the tires or is he slippin the clutch for whatever reason?

  • spinnin the tires. if you listen you can hear them screech after he shifts into second.

  • the garage is all his?

  • Man what an animal !! all the looks plus the insane muscle to back it up.I really need to win lotto

  • @phoon888 - I need to win the lotto too. But you know they say your chances of winning are like getting attacked by two different bears in the same day. LOL! So if that happens run to the store and play.

  • Stunning car and a good video... but could we have the video again without the music please!

  • wow i'm speechless...i luv the GT40 wether it's an original or a continuation series replica!

  • turn the music off so we can hear the engine.. haha

  • wouah !!!!! great very great ! "Le Pied" !

  • nice job love the motor

  • Czuję potężny czymś zakupu czegoś

  • my brother in law has one!

  • wow, that is amazing..

    wow.

that must be such a joy to own

  • I drive a fast car...a Renntech Stage 1 E55 AMG...But this thing, well it is one of the few cars I really lust for. It really is the essence of exciting driving. Thanks

  • damn it.... i wanted to see that shit roll out :-/

  • nice car

  • Minor correction. There was never a "Cobra Jet" 427, Yes they had Cobra valve covers on some of them but the 427 never was called that. 428, 429 and the 351 were built as CJ's and SCJ's. That term wasn't used until about 68' after these cars were hugely successful. I like seeing more of the MKII big block cars like this one.

  • better than anything chevy has ever made

    `

  • Sounds like a ZO6 'Vette

  • some1 help my pussy is wet ;] N

  • great car cool vid

  • same engine as in AC Cobra???

  • I see a GT40 about a week ago just joining the motorway slip road, he was gunning it and it sounded like absolute thunder. i had tingly sensations going down my spine when i heard it

  • This guy appears to have real difficulty managing a gearshift without fluffing the throttle. I really, really want a Hi-Tech/Superformance GT40 though. I echo the comment already made about preferring one to Ford's GT. In fact, I think I'd prefer one to a Ferrari 430. Probably a Gallardo, too. A Wiesmann MF4 comes close... but not much else IMO.

  • Very nice car. I prefer the factory 5 though. If building a GT40 you have to have a supercharger. Noticed this one was not

  • Eh? The original Ford GT40 didn't have a supercharger? It's the Ford GT that's supercharged!

I'd much rather have a GT40 replica from Hi Tech Automotive than the current Ford GT or any other supercar for that matter! You can get them in the original right hand drive for the UK as well! Beautiful car guys, spot on!

By the way, Superperformance in the United States is the trading name for Hi Tech Automotive. Hi Tech are a South African company and also help make the Noble car range.

  • lol bitch ass pussy wife

  • he cant drive for SHIT

  • fucking class m8.

    out-standing-car.

    *****

  • Nice GT40. Im building one right now... Cant wait to get her done then i can have some fun.

  • are you a distributor for superformance?

  • AMAZING 0_0!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the comment meksub. What kind of ride do you have? Dream on Kid!

  • I was there.

  • Check out how this car drives. And sounds!
