race? who cares. if you stop bring up the subject and do something spectacular it will go away. dont keep drilling into our subconcious we need a homeless person for president with no vested interest's. give them all the facts they need to rationalize a decision and i bet spectacular things would happen, (as long as they are not manipulated) I nominate the homeless for congress.
Although I have not entirely drank the Obama kool-aid I thought this speech covered some topics (briefly) that he has never touched on before. I believe that with his nomination he wll begin to change the politics in America and the dialogue on race. mferg
I read his entire congressional record, did you? There is no excuse for Obama flipfloping on his voting record for the War,and then telling everyone he has ALWAYS been against the War. He's a liar and a hypocrite.Obama voted NO on a bill to repeal Bushes tax breaks to the wealthy and oil companies. Hillary voted YES.Obama voted 2x to fund the War, and told everyone how Hillary gave Bush a blank check. He voted YES to Cheneys Energy bill. Charismatic yes, but I am not sucked in by media hype.

Until Howard Stern gets fired for his sexism and meets with Gloria Steniem will there be equality amoung the sexes. Don't forget the black man got the right to vote 50 YEARS! before women got the righ to vote. As a woman we are excepting of sexism but racism is another thing. Obama voting record vs rhetoric, stand on their own.

He needs to endorse controls on the banks and get real about the Fed letting the ruling class to fleece the US Treasury and run to Paraguay to join the Moon and Bush families.
