Windows CE 6.0 was built in 2006 and it's software is even older.

I've never tried Messenger since I never needed an account on it, but I suspect that it's only text chatting. Windows CE is pretty much the bare minimum.

It doesn't come with flash, but I have the Flash Lite software if you buy it.

But, with a 300mhz processor, you won't be able to watch flash videos anyways.

It comes with skype (For voice chatting), but it doesn't have a webcam and I don't know if an external webcam would work.

Oh, It ok. It's fun to answer questions.

But, no, these's things don't come with windows movie maker and I doubt it would be of any use even if they did. They're far too weak. Even the 300 dollar intel powered netbooks have trouble with video editing.

I've just heard that Windows CE 7 was just realeased by microsoft. It is far superior to Windows CE 6 and can sync with Windows 7. I wonder if there's a way of getting it onto these netbooks.

Windows ce Pros - Small Compact, can run on VERY low power devices, plays most videos, nearly all music, game emulators such as NES, gameboy advance, compact internet, youtube, chess, microsoft word, excel, etc and it goes on and on.

Cons - It is limited in what applications to install (However, with the applications it does have, they are usually very powerful and can do everything an average person would need). Only software built SPECIALLY for CE will work.

Download an android setup script. Google it.

Copy it to an sd. Stick it in. Reboot the system and the setup should automatically start.

Ubuntu Linux/XP will defininantly not install on an ARM Based Device.

The 2 above only run on x86 based Platforms such as AMD/Intel.

For ARM, you can have Windows CE, Some hacked Linuxes, Android, bla bla bla, but those are the main ones.
