Uncharted 2 is more of a challenge on hard and then you get crushing when you complete the game which is really solid, I made it too the boss battle at the end on crushing but have never been able to kill the bastard, I hate that battle lol. Heavy Rain really shocked me, never thought it would be something I could get into but as you say it just sucks you in and the emotional connection was so well done.

Great pickups dude, shame about the xbox, is it an old style or the slim model? With Infamous i'd say give it another shot and stick with it. I tried to play it when I got it and couldn't get into it and left it for a year and tried again when no.2 was about to be released, it all fell into place and the game was fantastic. Your powers get much better as the game progresses. And infamous 2 is 10x better than the original.
