How could I make A minor from E minor? Is is possible to lower the tune of my guitar?

@Gauldoth06 You can't. Am is too far from Em, you can't lower so much your strings, and if you use a capo to raise pitch, you won't be able to pick the higher notes if you are playing on a classical guitar.

Various people have referred to it as a song which got me thinking.

I know Nightwish turned it into a song but I'm sure that in the '70s there was a song that got into the charts using the same tune, so that was long before Michael Nyman used it in The Piano, but I can't think of the name or band. Any ideas?

what you play in the video is differerent to the tab, the tab says play the g string 2nd fret on the 8th note you play but you dont play that in the video? im no guitar expert maybe im missing something please help I want to learn this song!

@themajor333 You are right! Actually that note should be a B (g string, 4th fret) not an A (g string, 2nd fret). @Kaissa64 I first started this arrangement in the original key of Am, but it was too difficult. Then I turned to Em and everything got simpler. I'm not a classical guitarist.. I'm not even a guitarist :)
