  • We all know Bill Snyder built the current regime in Norman. Now, you had to go get a Kansas State all-american to head your pathetic bb program. Stoops is the lowest of low lights. Snyder made him what he was and how does he repay. He meddles with our coaches during the week of K-State's biggest game. I could give a flying flip any of them left, but to not wait until the season was over was pure envy and sabotage. Yeah, OU are cheaters.

  • @PVcat1 WAAAAAH Let me give you a tissue for those tears you butt hurt little boy.Your OU envy is sad and patheic. Like a 5 year old calling people cheaters when you lose. lol. Have your boyfriend comfort you because nobody here cares.

  • @oukurt Why don't you go and hire coaches with an OU history? Let's see two Stoops, Venables and Mangino, all learned from the master, Bill Snyder. The last time OU had class was under Bud Wilkinson. Of course, you are too much of a young punk to remember him. You like slimy Barry Switzer, et al. Yeah, I'm so envious. Lest you forget Lon Kruger and Steve Henson were all-americans at Kansas State. Where is all the great heritage in Okie land?

  • @PVcat1 Kansas state has had 11 all americans. Oklahoma has 52 and counting you should be envious

  • @ffxiftw1234 No envy here. I love Kansas State and very proud of our Kansas work ethic and never die attitude.

Bill Snyder exemplifies that and many, many Oklahoma players, through the years, are self entitled spoiled brats. No room for those types at K-State. We don't cheat either.

  • And I'm going to venture a guess that JoeBob246 lives, or has lived, somewhere in or near Wichita, and drives a Chevy or a Dodge pickup. It likely has some "hemi" or "bad boy" graffiti reference on it, has a few bumper stickers, one of which refers to something he likes to do to "tailgaters", and probably has one of those "ball sacs" hanging from the hitch.

  • I was cool with it through 1991, and then 1992 happened. I still remember the taunting by KSU fans after they lost by 2 in Norman - a LOSS. It was reminiscent of the constant crap that OSU fans spew - "you're just cheaters", "you stole our coaches"...all lame excuses for being terrible at something. You want to be happy for their success at times, because you felt bad that they sucked for so long...but then they open their mouths.

  • Living in Kansas at the time, I actually was happy at first for KSU, until the JoeBob246's of the world became fans, ignoring all of the history of college football and showing blatant irreverence for any of the traditional conference powers. They ran their mouths all through the 90s and had NOTHING to show for it, except the lame "we beat you when you were on probation" argument. It wasn't enough to be happy about their success, they had to start trash with every opposing fan...

  • LOL, that's because there WERE no KSU football fans before 1993. My favorite aspect of KSU "fandom" is the "Decade of Dominance" DVD - which describes the decade of KSU football history in which they "dominated" by winning exactly nothing. Meanwhile, their fans trash talked OU fans during a down decade, and created an imaginary rivalry with Nebraska, who proceeded to win 3 national and 5 conference championships during that same KSU period of "dominance".

  • @MrCheezyQ So you have proved yourself to be a sniveling fat blogger who blasts on boards about how great OU was and how bad KSU was. Let's remember I'm saying your lame coaches left for more money and an easier place to cheat (see Rhett Bomar) and recruit easier. You have time to write a short novel but write about how I "live in Wichita and drive a Chevy or a Dodge"? Get real, get a life, get a job.

  • @JoeBob246 You couldn't be further from the truth, but it's not like you've been anywhere near the truth in any of your comments, so no one should be surprised. You're a redneck loser who has never been a supporter of a winning team, and is ridden with jealousy over OU's success. You're team got luck for a few years, exploiting a screw up that cost OU the 90s. Now that OU is back, KSU has nothing to exploit, and you will suck just as bad as you always have.

  • @JoeBob246 Funny how you also say that OU's coaches "cheated" with Rhett Bomar. Bomar was the starting QB for one of OU's worst teams this decade - 2005. He cheated on his own, not with the consent of the coaches, and when Stoops confronted him about it and he lied, they kicked his ass off the team, despite his status as the starting QB, and only a converted WR to back him up. But yeah...OU just cheats, that's the only reason we win. Keep telling yourself that...

  • No one chimed in about anything till some arrogant OU alumni wishing for glory days of years past spewed about how bad KSU was. Get a life, you are lame for trying to misconstrue something out of nothing so you can talk trash about something. Play boomer sooner 500 times before you go to bed tonight, which is half as much as they will play it at a single home game this year, and go find something else to have an aneurysm over.

  • @JoeBob246 Now you're just a lying sack of shit on top of being a redneck dumbass. You dropped the first bomb when you said, and I'll just quote it for you: "the only reason K-State didn't smash Oklahoma in 2000 like they did in years past was because OU stole K-State's coaches." The only reason you didn't smash Oklahoma in 2000 is because you weren't good enough. Not only did we hand you your ass once, we did it twice, both times away from Norman.

  • @JoeBob246 And speaking of "wishing for glory days of years past", what the hell do you think you're comments are? Sorry to inform you, but Snyder's days of coming in 2nd to Nebraska every year are LONG over, and they won't be coming back. You had a nice little run of 11 years or so, so enjoy living in the past, because that's all you'll have from now on. The Sooners are just getting back to where we have been in the last 6 decades - the top.

  • Oh my bad, big difference in the KC metroplex. Rolls eyes.

  • K-State may have been the 2nd or 3rd best team in 2000 along with Miami but they have no excuses. They lost twice to OU in the state of Kansas.

  • @SenorDali KC is in missouri

  • K-state played so terrible this game. We got ourselves way down with just terrible tackling. But it was a pretty good game.. OU was just damn good that year. And I don't see how you can say we haven't sniffed the National Title. In 98 we were the most dominant team in America. We lost in double OT, on a fluke 4th down pass to the endzone. 02-03 were potential title winning years that we let slip out on a few conference games. In 03 if Ell Roberson didn't get hurt, we probably wouldn't have lost

  • @peepee225 except you followed that loss in the Big 12 title game up with an absolute choke job against Purdue in the Alamo Bowl.

  • K-state played so terrible this game. We got ourselves way down with just terrible tackling. But it was a pretty good game.. OU was just damn good that year.

  • Yeah.. K-State won 5 in a row from 1993-1997.

OU won 32 in a row from 1937-1968

OU won 22 in a row from 1971-1992

Since 2000 OU is 7-1 against KSU and 70-17-4 over all.

  • @gregtangney You go boy!!! You know there are a lot of OU Hater fans out there.....they are JEALOUS of Oklahoma's success. That's all it is....their teams suck, so why not let out there insecurities and frustrations out on a SUCCESS....SUCH AS OKLAHOMA SOONERS...Voted by ESPN as the MOST Successful and Prestigious College Football program of ALL TIME!!!! Not KST. Not Alabama..Not USC..But Oklahoma!!!

  • @gregtangney its important to know when dealing with KSU fans that according to them, football history begins in 1993, was suspended from 2006-2008, then begins again in 2009.

  • I'll never forget, i had to work during this game and could only p/u the KSU radio station... anyways there fag commentators said in the pre game that "this was a game the wildcats should be able to pull away and win easily." Clearly dude was as football savvy as the majority of the ksu faithful lol!

  • I wish i could get this full season

  • Does it bother you that OU has sucked for 10 years in its history and K-State has only been good for 10 years in its entire history? It should. And I continue to love how you talk about us pissing away chances. YOU HAD NO CHANCES. Your one shot was in 98 and you lose to Texas A&M! Seriously, you need to sit down because you're way out of your league. OU will win 5 more NCs before K-State wins 1. And I'm done with this. You don't have the game. It's a blowout just like the next time we beat you.

  • Another stellar argument. You rag on us for sucking in the 90's, which we did, and then brag about beating us. So in your words, the best thing about the OU-K-State series for K-State is that you were able to beat us when we sucked and weren't when we didn't. Yeah, you guys really are awesome. The only reason K-State ever was any good was because OU sucked for a decade, and a lot of Oklahoma players became K-State's best players.

  • There are literally 100 teams, including K-State, who wish they had half the success we have. Sure, we've been beaten in some big games lately, but you know who wasn't there? You. Of course I'm embarrassed about Boise and WVU, but ask yourself this: What are you more embarrassed about, the fact that before Snyder came, you were the worst team in college football, or the fact that when he finally leaves for good you'll go back to being the same? There's a reason NO ONE wanted you in realignment.

  • @ruscopcoltrain Go get bent on realignment...its all about cash not performance on the sports field. The thing is, OU falls on their face time after time, have fun watching it this year in football. They'll probably be in a running for something and piss it down their leg. And I'm scratching my head, because before you had Stoops, OU was a whipping boy school, remember the last 5 games before this one in 2000 against K-State?

  • This game was busch-league. Look at every TD OU scores and a K-State player missed a tackle that they were in the right spot for. If K-State's D doesn't give up the big play K-State wins this hands down...besides the only reason K-State didn't smash Oklahoma in 2000 like they did in years past was because OU stole K-State's coaches.

  • @JoeBob246 So your point is that K-State was better than OU. So much better that they couldn't make easy tackles or cover receivers? Great logic. At the end of the game, you look at the scoreboard and that tells the story. Grow up and grow a pair.

As far as the coaches, from what I could tell, they ran to OU to get away from slave driver Bill S. All they did was go to a better school with better recruits and more money and win an NC. Why not coach at a school with 100 years tradition, not 10?

  • @ruscopcoltrain -- You're so Youtube tough, I bet you try to even intimidate the baddest Bosie State fan huh? Yes K-State was better than OU, playing poor in one game does not mean that OU would have won had they played that game 100 times. Grow a pair??? You mean like when Bill Snyder destroyed Stoops in '03 by 28 points? Those coaches ran to OU because it was the easy way out...which is what most people take. OU is/has been always #1 or #2 in the Big 12 for recruiting.

  • The fact OU hasn't done more is pathetic. They won one Nat'l Championship under Stoops by a whopping 11 points. Two BCS wins by Stoops, great....you would hope out of 7 tries you would at least win two.

  • @JoeBob246 Hello pot, meet kettle. One game? You're apparently forgetting that OU also beat K-State in the championship the same year. Yeah, you guys got us. Congrats, you're officially 1-7 against Bob Stoops. Which is why you have to bring up OTHER teams' success against us. You have NONE of your own. You have never won ANY BCS game and never sniffed the NC, and you want to say OU sucks because they haven't won MORE? Dude, you need to take your medicine. Reality and you aren't co-habitating.

  • @ruscopcoltrain 98' we were locked in until the 2nd to last game of our season so you can't say that "we've never had a sniff". See the last 5 games before this one where you played K-State. You act like OU is so great, we had a sophomore qb in 2001 fumble the football back to you at the end of the game and OU won by 1 point!!! What are you talking about co-habitating? Go back and think up something coherent.

  • @JoeBob246 ROFL...I love this comment. So typical of the KSU "fan". You know...because coaches HATE going to schools with decades of tradition, prime access to big time recruits, and who don't have to artificially inflate their worth by pounding Div II teams to vault themselves into national "prominence". Nope, not at all. OU done stole dem coaches.

  • I was there, as a 5th grader (wow). The Texas win was great, but this win was the one where our title hopes became very realistic. And I've never heard a louder stadium than when KSU blocked our punt...

  • Boomer Sooner!!

  • I;ll never forget that season!
