  • The brass comes out almost faster than the bullet! Haha. Awesome build though man.

  • @booya155 Thank you!

  • Where did you get your optic?

  • @Coolmans24 It was a gun show impulse buy. Not recommended for this caliber.

  • This gun sounds awesome, looks awesome!!! Congradulations :)

  • @Deniztengri Thank you!

  • 0:31 you killed a tree!!??

  • @excite236 No. The tree we were shooting at was already dead. I just didn't say this in the video.

  • excellent work with this gun! Im gonna go out on a limb and guess since you could customize it at this level its a WASR?

  • @jdizzy01 Thanks! It is a Century Arms, but not a WASR. It's 5.45X39, AK-74.

  • That is THE farthest and HARDEST i have ever seen a rifle extract a cartridge!! that alone could kill someone! I like the gun, the stock is a bit long for my tastes but its collapsible so that doesnt matter anyways!!!

  • @tested004 Thanks!

  • kak krasni!!!!! beautiful weapon you have there comrade... i had a very large collection but i was burglarized and every single weapon i had was taken from the locked case i had them in... they used a glass cutter and took every weapon i had, over 4,500 dollars worth of assault rifles (AK47, SKS Jugoslav, and AR-10) as well as glock 17 and glock 21, taurus .40 and .45 short ... i was devastated, i didn't care that they stole my TVs and Blu-Ray Player... where did u get the ak74?

  • i hear western pa...

  • @smasciLOL...Not quite...So IL. We had the Cicadas last year, also.

  • those pop up sights look kind of ridiculous

  • u ever think about goin into weapons development? :)

  • @Davidkira1990 LOL! No, but thanks. I don't think I would do very well since I have more ppl hating this rifle project than liking it. No matter. It was fun.

    Thanks for commenting.

  • its not an ak anymore :)

  • @Mrtoaman It's not an AK any less. :-)

  • big government sucks

  • @lurconis666 I agree.

  • Those gunshots sound the same as the ones on a DanzNewz Vlog

  • @AdRuNkRuSsIaNsTuDiOs I'll take your word on that...I've never seen it. Thanks!

  • @ 0:45 that's what you get when an american makes an ak...

  • this may look bit more hi tech but the ak-47 (russian one) is lots of better

i think its the best gun in the world

  • Very low recoil... Perfect.

  • Very low recoil... Perfect.

  • you turned me into a fan of the AK series!

  • where did the recoil go lol?

  • Just one question - did you buy it at store or it's illegal posession right here. Cause in russia ppl not allowed to buy even pistol, let alone AK-74.

  • all this stuff makes this gun look like airsoft crap.

  • @kamilchen4 Who gives a shit. Difference is u gonna be pulling out Live rounds with this thing not sum pussys airsoft shit.

  • Nice remodeling on that bro, that stock is beast. tell me how accurate it is when you sight it in because mine has a half inch grouping. It seams like your shells eject farther then mine, is that something you altered?

  • @ClaryT13 Thanks, brother! No, I didn't mod the extractor. It's stock. It throws the casings about 10-12 feet!

I'll try to keep you up to date with the sighting in.

    Thanks!

  • VERY GOOD!!!!

  • Thats the first time ive ever seen a promag magazine work!

  • I've never changed or modded the but stock, so my question is does it help with recoil at all?

  • @marsproductions1 Yeah, it does help w/recoil, however; that was not my motivation to use this type of stock. The "OEM" stock was/is way too short for my length of pull. Using the collapseable stock fully extended let's me shoot the rifle more comfortably and maintain better control. Additionally, in the fully collapsed position, I can still shoot the rifle accurately & comfortably. Hope that helps if your on the fence about whether, or not, to try one. Thanks!

  • @kg9pz Thanks for the help!

  • wow thumbs up to you, that thing has NO recoil.

  • shoulda took that money you spent on the extras and spent it on a decent ass ak74 lol...

  • @slcslobalt But you cant say that he made one awesome ak47 can you? :P

  • Trained shooter+some modifications= DAMN THAT AK SEEMS IT DON'T HAVE MUCH RECOIL

  • Amazing how little kick that gun has, huh? ;)

  • Jean-Claude Van Damme :D

  • Since the Red-dot sight is mounted on the rail that is attached to the top removable cover, wouldn't you have to re-sight after every rifle cleaning? I have an AMD-65 and that top cover moves around sometimes giving me the imperssion that a topmount rail is not a good idea. I am thinking about going with the rail that replaces the gas tube.

  • what a accuary and very low recoil

    ps. happy new year

  • Want.

  • very cool but to be honest i dont think it needs the reddot on there an ak's iron sights are good enugh

  • Very NICE!

  • so little recoil :O since its a 74 isnt it the 556?

  • @Grawr93XD Probably 5.45x39mm (russian ammo), not 5.56x45 (NATO ammo).

  • it does have a firing pin in it..thought it was a display gun at first:) love the supersonic crack..sweet rifle, looks like fun to shoot, nicely done on the AK bro..

  • @phishst1cks LOL! Thanks, brother! Yes, it really does shoot! LMAO! It's a blast to shoot. I plan to make a lot more shooting vids with it in the spring. I'm stocking in the ammo over the winter months.

  • Have a very very Happy Holidays, a safe one, and a very very Happy and blessed New year!!!!!!!

  • @vpatrick225yahoo Thank you! And to you, sir!

  • That's a mighty nice rifle you've got there, damn. I don't really know anything about firearms but it looks like she's very stable and easy to operate.

  • @MrOrbitz89 Thanks! Yes, it is easy to operate, and the recoil is very controllable. All AKs were designed that way so that anyone could shoot them making anyone a potential soldier if needed.

  • Please tell me 2 things, What is that long rail system on top the brand and where i can get it. Second what brand is your stock and where can i get it. Thanks and amazing build man! I am slowly building my ak to look like that.

  • @grant227 Thanks! If you go the video of the rifle posted on my channel, I have included a parts list in the video description box that gives all the accessories manufacture. Don't forget to subscribe while you're on my channel page, also!

  • SMOOOOOOOOOOOOTH!

  • @tusepagliacco Almost like a .22, brother!

  • @tusepagliacco Thanks!

  • Very sweet rifle. Makes my AR15 look cheap! Thanks for sharing brother.

  • @MakingMasterClass Thanks, Steve! Sorry, I just saw this comment.

  • hi, your AK looks very nice, do you have a website for more pictures? thanks

  • @Yvesyew No, this is it for images, for now. If that changes I'll be sure to let you know, k?

  • What was the overall cost after the transformation from the base CA to the Tactical?

  • @valakin As I recall, it all added up to around $600 +/-. It's been a while now and I really don't remember the exact amount. It was fun doing the project, though. Thanks for your comment!

  • could you imagine doing that in a shtf scenario? lol that would be fucked up if you got one instead of the other person because you forgot to take off the safety.

i do that shit sometimes though, as i think many people do.

  • @f8talh8red I know, man. I was nervous not having fired the gun before. I didn't know if was going to run, or blow my face off, so I forgot the safety. I thought I recovered well, though. You? Thanks!

  • @kg9pz

    me? never!

recovered awesome dude! those mom hands didnt hinder the recovery also, so thats good to know for future tactical runs lol oh yeah and make sure NOT to blow your face off! lmao isnt that like the first rule of shooting or somethin? other than dont put the muzzle up your butt! j/k

  • @f8talh8red Thanks! Yeah, the "Mom" hands do have their merit, I suppose. Ha! I could be wrong, but I distinctly recall reading the manual on page #6, sub section "F", paragraph .IV, it clearly states that there is to absolutely no inserting of the muzzle into, or near, the arse! Look it up!

Now that we've cleared that up, did you get the friend invite I sent you? If so, can you please approve it so I don't have to approve your comments on my videos? Your comments are always welcome! See inbox!

  • @kg9pz

    i taw i taw a new freind invite, i did i did!

did that as soon as you asked me to the first time.

  • @f8talh8red Dude, sorry, I wasn't trying to be anal about the invite. Youtube's system isn't perfect, I guess, because I'm still having to approve your comments. WTF? I don't get it...maybe it'll take one of these days. Thanks!

  • @kg9pz

oh, i know, it just seemed like you were getting a little annoyed.

i dont know what the hell is going on. i fricken hate how glitchy computers can be. i wish they made one that just worked how its supposed to all the time.

  • 0:46 lmfao

  • @f8talh8red I know, I'm a tard!

  • Just asking, did you ever think to saw the front sight off?

  • @TehBloodyYank556 No, not really. I concentrated on figureing out how to co-witness instead. Besides, I knew I wanted to keep the option of using the iron sights if I changed my mind later on.

  • @TehBloodyYank556

not to sound like a douche, but that sounds like a horrible idea!

ive heard of people doing that with their ar's, but that was so they didnt have to buy a new low pro gas block, and they could run their rail system or ff right over the top of it.

  • You've got your 74 tricked out quite nicely.

  • @rogermcgee1 Thank you! It was a fun project.

  • They upped the price on the DPH arms rail from 40 bucks to 180 bucks, how gay.

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun What? I just looked on CSS's sight and I don't see it on there any longer. I wonder what's happening with it.

  • @kg9pz

They made a "newer, better" one which really in hindsight isn't in anyway "better", they just made a new one so they can bump up the prices.

  • Has anyone tried any Wolf 5.45x39? I ran through a box of 1000 and about 3-5% were over charged rounds and the casing had to be removed with a cleaning rod. I don't know if i got a bad batch or Wolf hasn't put too much time into their 5.45 round. Please let me know your experiences.

  • @Trygar1987 I've only ran the Russian surplus through mine and have had no issues. At the price point, I really can't see buying anything different.

  • @kg9pz - there really isnt a reason to. Maybe buy a couple of boxes of the hornady 5.45 for grins and giggles, but other than that, just stack the surplus deep.

  • @Trygar1987 - wolf is shit. Well, the old wolf is anyway. the new WPA stuff is made by barnaul and is pretty damned good. The surplus stuff is the best ammo you can get for 5.45. outside of the really expensive hornady loads.

  • Any issues with the surplus russian ammo? im gonna jump on a two cans pretty soon i was just wondering what your impression was?

  • @smokybob63 Thanks for the sub and comment! I have shot over 550 rds of the Russian surplus ammo without any issues what so ever. The 2160 rd case is the only way to go. I get it from Aimsurplus. You'll be just fine with it.

  • @kg9pz Any truth to the rumors that this ammo is gonna run dry soon?

  • @kg9pz How much is two cans with shipping?

  • @smokybob63 Two spam cans come in a wooden crate w/a can opener for $259.00 + shipping to your location (prices will vary with distance), but they have a shipping estimator in the shopping cart. After you add the amount you want to the cart, just enter your zip code for the rate.

  • @kg9pz Yep just looked it up $37 for shipping isnt too bad i guess.

  • @Sorensonism Thanks! No problem. I hope I win cause I am also trying to enhance my blade collection! That's a really nice knife for a give-a-way.

  • @FirearmsPlus Thanks! I had some reservations about shooting it since I had no idea if it would cycle, or not. My somewhat nervous condition clouded my thinking and I forgot to release the safety! But, as you can see, it ran without a hitch. The controllability is related to the 5.45 X 39 caliber. I am very impressed with this round right now.

  • To many people in America like this gun now,an bought one,an now the was cheaper ammo is going to go way up an price,an run out,and the not produced domestically5.45x39round will be hard to come across.I Still think the round is better then the223/5.56x45for many reasons but the AK maker didn't like this gun he said should have stuck with the round that has it all7.62x39which has more punch power close range.I say longer range this is better,an the.223 is just a weaker round shots through less

  • @databasemaster3 I agree on all points, that's why I'm stock piling the ammo now while it's still cheap! Thanks for the comment and sub!

  • finally, someone who tacticaled up their '74

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun Thanks! I've seen some 74s on here that have a few tactical doo-dads on them, but I thought I'd do one of my own. Glad you like it and thanks for the comment!

The rail over the dust cover is made by DPH Arms. I bought it at carolina shooters supply dot com. They also have an installation video on it as well. It's solid as a rock on the rifle and a great optics/accessory mounting platform. Highly recommended.

  • @768Kayshan Okay, I'll remember you said you'd remember! Have a great week, Shannon. TTYS!

  • nope still not sure what wrongs with it

  • @TacticalGunChannel Did you violate the TOS? Maybe email YouTube and tell'em to fix it!! I've watched a few of your vids through the search feature, but it would be nice to have them all in one place for easier viewing. Let me know if/when it gets fixed, k?

  • nice....where u shooting fmj? it sucks cause the ranges where im from only allow hollow points or soft points on there range so i only shot 300 rds of tula hp thru my 74 and no problems....

  • @TacticalGunChannel Yes, it was FMJ, but I was not at a range. I was on private property, so no issues. I can shoot whatever I want there. Same around here with the ranges, at least the indoor ones. NO FMJ STEEL CORE! It puts holes in their backstops and they don't like that. I'm getting ready to order 2160 rounds of ammo (milsurp) and a new rifle. Can you guess what it will be? Stay tuned..............So, did you find out why your channel is not available? Maybe have someone else try to see it?

  • Awesome! I love it...After this video, did you set up any targets?

  • @stlrayedwards Well, I tried to, but those damn Liberals run too fast and wouldn't stand still long enough!!!! They're like frickin deer! Ass too high, run too fast!
