  • WOW I WANT ONE OF THESE MY HOUSE IS FALLING APART LOL

  • hello....wonderfull house i like it ...is it possible to build a cob house in rainy regions like northern germany aswell?

  • @AMULDARRY Shurely it is possible. One just have to waterlock the basement properly, and the roof overhang should be wider. About 0,6 - 1 meter is usually enough. Depends on predominant winds. It's also a good idea to have cornices hanging at every storey for a multi-storeyed house, like in traditional chinese architecture, which was originally designed for humid climes. And, the territory around the house would better be drained efficiently.

  • @VasilyKiryanov thx for the good answer ..have a great day ..greets from germany

  • @AMULDARRY You're welcome =)

  • Wonderful video, beautiful building. I'll watch this again THANKS!

  • beauty!

  • whos the that song by?

    cool cheap house to...&quick&easy!

  • all the houses built, are so small... . I would like to build at least 2 storey house, about 200 m2 of usable space.

  • @lilleke013 There are plenty of big ones, and cob is very capable of that. I don't know why people have to build so small... I don't want to build a BIG house, but not this tiny!

  • @TreyRust Yes me too, I have a big family (2 kids and I want one more) so I need a bigger house. I have so much more to learn before I can start building, I can´t even imagine what the climate in eastern europa will do with the cob house...

  • @lilleke013 I tell you how is,I am from eastern Europe. Here all traditional houses are made from cob,in winter are warmy,in summer is cold inside.I speak about normal house-3-4 rooms, normal size.Modern houses are not made from cob and people who live in have problems in summer,is hot inside. So,this is the best house:COB house. In winter we make fire in evening and in the morning is still warm, cob walls have this advantage to keep constant temperature inside.

  • @unickgodess Thank you for your answer :D You live in rumenia as I can see from your profile. I´m from estonia :D

  • @TreyRust Check this out, it is a home made of strawbales. the home is half way dug in a hill and it seems big enough for 4 people.

  • @Rhinoch8 it is simondale's hobbit house on google

  • @TreyRust a larger house is harder to heat

  • @roenie1 But if it's built considering all passive house building rules. To use as much solar energy as possible.

  • nice house!

we're planning to build something similar this summer...

what's the name of this song?

  • what about this finish to the walls?!! you left the place looking like my flat!!

  • This is great! Is it Galicia or Asturias or another part of Northern Spain?

  • Nice.... too bad they have used so much plastics in the buildingprogress...

  • SWEET! Great vid!

  • freakin amazing!

  • the ceiling is beautiful. i would love to live in that house.
