I really like the gimmick- it's very original and a great nod to yesteryear. But his moveset doesn't match the old shooters from back in the day. And since when is an airplane spin a rare move?
This was such a great gimmick! I was hoping to see an old school grappling classic match between him and Regal, instead we got the scotty goldman stuff and then he got fired. . .oh well, maybe the office will see the error of their ways and bring him back with the hood on!

My grandfather remembered watching Matt Classic back when he was a kid, with his own grandfather, who also watched Matt when he was a kid.
