@mylespaul777 oh, I don't know much about his life, I know he was into a lot of drugs. I have tried drugs and I've tried God, who seems to hide out in born-again or pentecostal churches. It is my belief that while certain drugs can get you to that level of awareness, it is not a level that you're supposed to be at, & ultimately you will not achieve the knowledge you seek. If you seek God, he can take you to that level, but at his timing, not yours. the stuff Jim found was too big for him.

This movie is the best thing that could have happened financially to the remaining Doors, lets face it, the remaining Doors were just a back up band, or a vehicle to assist in the launching of a career of one of the most charismatic and enigmatic singers in rock history.

I hate seeing the remaining Doors bitching about Oliver Stones interpretation of Jim Morrisons life as if they fucking own the guy. The Doors movie is what rekindled interest in the band some 20 years after Morrison die
