@arielrebelfan1 "Your Doors page"? it's not your's. ITS ALL OF OURS! you do not own them, nobody can and nobody will ever own music. I love The Doors music, I'm not anti-drug I do it myself from time to time. None of the heavy stuff though. Just Marijuana.
Stanley Kubrick: No. I believe that drugs are basically of more use to the audience than to the artist. I think that the illusion of oneness with the universe, and absorption with the significance of every object in your environment, and the pervasive aura of peace and contentment is not the ideal state for an artist. Perhaps when everything is beautiful, nothing is beautiful."
@thabassist95 they made him out to be only about drugs, I don't know much about the guy, but the movie depicted him as a raging drug addict that saw indians.
@TMundo Well, if ya knew much about him, he was all about drugs, epsecially when he got more famous. he didnt see indians, its representing a gift that he was given, and that he destroyed by his choices.
@mylespaul777 oh, I don't know much about his life, I know he was into a lot of drugs. I have tried drugs and I've tried God, who seems to hide out in born-again or pentecostal churches. It is my belief that while certain drugs can get you to that level of awareness, it is not a level that you're supposed to be at, & ultimately you will not achieve the knowledge you seek. If you seek God, he can take you to that level, but at his timing, not yours. the stuff Jim found was too big for him.
Stone portrayed Nico as a stupid, drugged whore. That's absolutely ridiculous and inapt. I hate this part, it's just a heap of pathetic clichès about Andy Warhol and The Factory.
This movie is the best thing that could have happened financially to the remaining Doors, lets face it, the remaining Doors were just a back up band, or a vehicle to assist in the launching of a career of one of the most charismatic and enigmatic singers in rock history.
I hate seeing the remaining Doors bitching about Oliver Stones interpretation of Jim Morrisons life as if they fucking own the guy. The Doors movie is what rekindled interest in the band some 20 years after Morrison die
Yeah that is in the movie right before this part, I believe it is the drummer he says "Come on Jim this isn't our crowd man these people are vampires"
@Nawap24 "come on jim this isnt our scene man, these guys are vampires" litterally the sentence right before this vid started, jims reply was the first sentence in this vid.
this part is ok, but I like it better a minute later, when Strange Days is playing, everybody is laughing and drunk, and that Russian girl is giving Jim a blowjob.
Kilmer was fucking great but the movie was not even close. When you have people actually there like ray and robby and they say its not even close, you should be ashamed as a filmmaker
not the heroin this song when the girl dance and jim kiss her shally shally something like that listening sory for my bad english i am greek look at jim morrison s grave κατα τον δαιμονα εαυτου
Hey man, the song is Heroin by The Velvet Underground off of The Velvet Undergroudn & Nico. Pretty good song choice considering Warhol did the cover for the album.
this song is from also a pretty good band called the Velvet underground i think theres even lou reed and the song perfect day its pretty good too~! i love the doors!!
Yeah, it's from The Velvet Underground Live 2, the one with the chick in panties against a green background. It's on every boxed set I ever bought, too.
You also cut out the part where Andy is shooting Beauty #2 and Edie Sedgwick is petting the dog with Gino and then they stick a rod up its ass and use the rod as a spit to roast the dog live in a fireplace.
