is a helmet really going to save you if you crash?
i suppose you make your kids wear a helmet to rollarblade or ride bicycles too...
these same kids will grow up to be a bunch of pansies...
Let them learn that if you crash you get hurt. if you run into a building with your bike, you probably will crash... you will probably hit your head... so be careful.
@esamnilknarf The safety record of PPG is a major force in keeping unfavorable public criticism and FAA regulation from ruining the sport. Unnecessary head injuries will undermine those forces. As for the risk of head injury in a mishap...yes, if a helmet deflects flying prop shard and prevents a skull-penetration injury, it absolutely will.
yes its easy when you have a nice steady 5 knot wind. It is the nil wind forwards that most pilots will struggle with, especially if they are coming from a paragliding background.
the pilot built a wall well, when the wing was uphead,he stayed and controlled the wind to be stabilization, then squeezed the throttle and run, taking off...
WOW. I am at the moment on my CP. After that i am wanting to try paramotoring. What is it like on fuel consumption? Is it expensive to repair if damaged? Anyway, keep up the good flying mate.
