I knew Conredge at Davis Hills and Lee. He was anything but typical. It was the heart of the race days in school and he had to navigate that. It was rough. He could run like the wind and he was not a cruel dude. I watched him return 90+ yards at Goldsmith Schiffman one night for Davis Hills. He absolutely had it.
Was Holloway the only African-American starting QB in the SEC in 1973? Or the 1st in Volunteer history? Just wanting to know if he was a barrier-breaker.
I want to see this, where can I?!?!
