A wrestling match is based on what wrestling actually is, wearing your opponent down enough to get the pin fall. Randy Orton is right to wrestle the style he does, he wears his opponent down, takes his time and I find it believable. Randy "Headlock" Orton is more of a compliment than an insult, nothing wrong with using the simple moves that work. And I do know what I am talking about, I wrestle in the United Kingdom, I have learned from some of the best.

there is a general decline in the interest in wrestling at the moment, compared to 1997 - 2001, although I am totally WWE and im not a big fan of TNA, it would be good for TNA to actually become good to get the interest back in the business, bill and doug at the end of that video you actually talked some sense for once, no more stupid TNA gimmick matches!

Lightweights like Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, Evan Bourne, John Morrison & even Shelton Benjamin are often the one's given the chance to showcase there skills. Rey is taking it a little bit slow to avoid injury. The bigger guys are simply expected to be brawling powerhouses which makes no sence to me.

Part 1 - First I'm gonna start off with thank you. I started off watching TNA ppvs every now and then since TNA wasn't on in Australia except ppvs. Ever since I saw your posts on youtube I got more and more into TNA. TNA has been nearly a year on tv in Australia and I love it. The only reason I watch WWE is to see Shawn Michaels.

Part 3 - It is my dream to be a pro wrestler. I grew up watching the wwe so I have some attachment to it but if I was offered to go there I'd tell Vince to shove it because I can see some great talent that is going on in TNA plus I wouldn't trust myself with Vince. A good example is Elijah Burke...He is not on tv because of a lack of storyline for him. I love the wrestling buisness so much and to see Vince destroy it like that just hurts.

Dude, I enjoy TNA's wrestling a lot better, but they only managed to get 600 and 700 fans at their house shows in Florida. With that kind of attendance, they need to do something drastic. To be considered a "growing" company, you'd need to at least attract 1000-200 fans at a house show. ECW was getting that many people in '95, but TNA can't even get 1,000 people at a house show after 7+ years.

Also Rey Mysterio is too beat up to continue hitting the same spots he used to hit. Of course he doesn't have the same mobility and can't go at the same ferocious pace he set in AAA, ECW or WCW; he's now in his mid 30s, has had many joint operations, and is now off performance enhancing drugs, hence him looking "chunky". Cruiserweights can't go forever; if he keeps trying to wrestle like he did when he was 20 he'll end up like Dynamite Kid.

Wrestling that tells a story is better. Randy Orton using the headlock makes sense because his finisher is a cutter. Matches that are nothing but a random series of completely interchangeable spots are fine in small doses, but they're not better. Do you really think Jack Evans, Pac and Teddy Hart are the best wrestlers in the world?
Noone uses headlocks nonstop in a 20 minute match (because that would be boring). If a headlock is used properly and in context with a storyline, and it is sold properly then yes. If you prefer to watch spotfests, fine, I like wrestling that tells a story

Dudes problem its NOT the "gimmick" matches, its the lack of Mainstream TNA has, they could have more than just a 1.0 rating if 1# Advertise the product better. 2# Impact is TNA's Answer 2 WWE's RAW so use the Asylum as Answer 2 SmackDown but do do it like WCW, have both Nitro and Thunder on Cable but have The Asylum on a notable TV network like CBS, FOX, ABC and etc.

A wrestling match is based on what wrestling actually is, wearing your opponent down enough to get the pin fall. Randy Orton is right to wrestle the style he does, he wears his opponent down, takes his time and I find it believable. Randy "Headlock" Orton is more of a compliment than an insult, nothing wrong with using the simple moves that work. And I do know what I am talking about, I wrestle in the United Kingdom, I have learned from some of the best.

there is a general decline in the interest in wrestling at the moment, compared to 1997 - 2001, although I am totally WWE and im not a big fan of TNA, it would be good for TNA to actually become good to get the interest back in the business, bill and doug at the end of that video you actually talked some sense for once, no more stupid TNA gimmick matches!

The problem is that they Young guys have been made to look like chumps when ever they face the veterans. Johnny Devine even said himself that the Veterans are way overpaid, and if they're gonna make the young guys look like crap, how is that getting them established? This is stupid. You can't say WWE superstars are about paychecks. WWE is the largest company therefore they don't have to do much of anything to stay on top. TNA is of course the smaller company so your basicly looking at it as since their smaller and provide more of the "wrestling" than they're in the company to make it grow. Last time I checked TNA had WAAAAY more superstars complaining about they're paychecks and bring up jumping to WWE for higher pay, proving your arguement to be invalid.

Lightweights like Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, Evan Bourne, John Morrison & even Shelton Benjamin are often the one's given the chance to showcase there skills. Rey is taking it a little bit slow to avoid injury. The bigger guys are simply expected to be brawling powerhouses which makes no sence to me.

Furthermore, Nash's swerve made no sense, since he stopped Sting from using a weapon (thus helping Joe) before turning on Joe. This was more Vince Russo bullshit. TNgAy is going nowhere. I started off watching TNA ppvs every now and then since TNA wasn't on in Australia except ppvs. Ever since I saw your posts on youtube I got more and more into TNA. TNA has been nearly a year on tv in Australia and I love it. The only reason I watch WWE is to see Shawn Michaels.

Part 3 - It is my dream to be a pro wrestler. I grew up watching the wwe so I have some attachment to it but if I was offered to go there I'd tell Vince to shove it because I can see some great talent that is going on in TNA plus I wouldn't trust myself with Vince. A good example is Elijah Burke...He is not on tv because of a lack of storyline for him. I love the wrestling buisness so much and to see Vince destroy it like that just hurts.

check the ratings every week. they are averaging 1.1 in 2008. meaning they have gotten over 1.1 (like last weeks 1.2) and yes they have gotten less then 1.1

Dude, I enjoy TNA's wrestling a lot better, but they only managed to get 600 and 700 fans at their house shows in Florida. With that kind of attendance, they need to do something drastic. To be considered a "growing" company, you'd need to at least attract 1000-200 fans at a house show. ECW was getting that many people in '95, but TNA can't even get 1,000 people at a house show after 7+ years.

Also Rey Mysterio is too beat up to continue hitting the same spots he used to hit. Of course he doesn't have the same mobility and can't go at the same ferocious pace he set in AAA, ECW or WCW; he's now in his mid 30s, has had many joint operations, and is now off performance enhancing drugs, hence him looking "chunky". Cruiserweights can't go forever; if he keeps trying to wrestle like he did when he was 20 he'll end up like Dynamite Kid.

Wrestling that tells a story is better. Randy Orton using the headlock makes sense because his finisher is a cutter. Matches that are nothing but a random series of completely interchangeable spots are fine in small doses, but they're not better. Noone uses headlocks nonstop in a 20 minute match (because that would be boring). If a headlock is used properly and in context with a storyline, and it is sold properly then yes. If you prefer to watch spotfests, fine, I like wrestling that tells a story

Dudes problem its NOT the "gimmick" matches, its the lack of Mainstream TNA has, they could have more than just a 1.0 rating if 1# Advertise the product better. 2# Impact is TNA's Answer 2 WWE's RAW so use the Asylum as Answer 2 SmackDown but do do it like WCW, have both Nitro and Thunder on Cable but have The Asylum on a notable TV network like CBS, FOX, ABC and etc.

i agree with wwe's match pace, it is very very slow and youll see a move done about ever 3 mins in a match. theres a 3 min headlock then a suplex a pin attempt and then an armbar for another 3 mins so i agree with that much and im a wwe fan
