No, the 2 bricks do basically all the work. I added 2 home made multiplexers (very simple passive elements-relays only). All buttons are in a single chain of resistors. Some light effects are duplexed by adding 2 diode valves.
As the RCX brick face each other, they communucate via the IR port.
it was PRE-programmed to do everythin it does by a computer before hand... the lights there are for flashy effect... you did your part and moved the pieces needed to be moved in order for it to "LOOK" real...but its still proven fake... it doesn't have artificial intelligence, just codes to follow exactly how they say...
You are wrong on one point, but nearly right on an other.
1) The A.I. of my robot is absolutely genuine. Nothing pre-programmed. No fake.
2) For the film, I play a written part, that is true. Explanation: The order in which the pieces are placed on the shelf before the game determines the seed for a random generator. So, if I place the pieces in the same order, the robot will play the same game... as long as I stick to my part. The "trick" allows the different shooting angles.

Do you have a circuit board connected to the RCXs to control lights and buttons?
