This theme is great! It reminds me of sentinel prime's relationship with optimus prime. This song gets darker and sadder representing sentinel desperate acts and decent into madness. But the song maintains a consistent tone throughout representing sentinel belief in always fighting for his race and cybertron.
i must admit, they did a great job with sentinel, i cant remember the old show to know if they were true to the caracter or not, but they made me trust him, they made me like him,
when he betrayed the autobots, his speachs made me see that from his point of view, he really believed he was right.

Hes fighting for GOOD. its not the humans fault cybertron was destroyed, and the decepticons are bringing harm to the humans to rebuild it. optimus is doing the right thing. and the other autobots know that. :)
There is NO good or evil. Optimus is fighting for what he THINKS is good, Sentinel did the same with his race. In this case, Sentinel had a duty to his race, whereas Optimus ditched his when he lost the war. Good and evil is SUBJECTIVE. And know this, the humans were drawn into the war BECAUSE Optimus's team sent the Allspark in Earth's direction, unintentionally, but still. Therefore, it is the CLASHING of ideals and what our values is what we label others as good or evil.

And The dcons are just using Earth as their major tool to take over the universe, bring back their planet, and rool it while people are their slaves. Yes, the autobots came in contact with the humans unintentionally but thats how all movies happen...and the bots saw goodness in the humans. sam risked his life to help the bots. they bcame a team.
The decepticons only ended up on Earth because they were looking for Megatron and the AS. If Optimus sent it on an abandoned planet, humanity would never have gotten involved. Both Sentinel and Mega said that they would harvest whatevr resources the AS landed on, the humans as slaves were simply a bonus objective.
Which brings back another thing. I see Sentinel as a fallen, but a tragic hero while he fought for what he thought was both good and as a necessary evil

There is a NECESSARY evil. THen Sentinel is NOT evil, because then you are looking at it from a HUMAN'S perspective. Evil is evil eh? That means we shouldn't kill ANY animals even if it's for our survival, not expand to other places as they have native inhabitants as they would be deemed "evil" in your book.

It wasn't for no reason. Sentinel made a brilliant move in eliminating Ironhide as he was the weapons specialist, the only dumb move I would say he made was sparing Optimus (possibly because he was like a father figure to him). (sighs) Sentinel gave that speech on freedom, after the tribal wars, as a POSSIBLE new direction of how they lived their lives. Well, guess what? Sentinel gave his power to Megatron and Optimus and the result, was the war that killed off most of their race. WHen did the Decepticons plead and beg in Bayformers? They didn't. As for Sentinel dying, he didn't beg for mercy, he sought to justify himself until the end.
The Chicago attack was ordered by Sentinel, but Megatron had the final say. So most of the responsibilty would lie with him and not Sentinel asthe Decepticons did not obey SP until he threw Megatron off the building.

Optimus fought for FREEDOM not GOOD, get your concepts right. Sentinel SAW the big picture that his race mattered more to him than victory, because victory means NOTHING if his race dies or without the AS.

What?! It's the pro-Ironhide/Autobots that are attacking the Sentinel fans for siding with him. For example, my initial post (on a dif. vid) was that the theme had a much deeper meaning about Sentinel. Sentinel was a good guy. He did what was best for HIS HOME PEOPLE! Optimus and the autbots basically fell in love with sam and BETRAYED there own race and helped the humans.. Sentinel couldve killed and SHOULDVE killed optimus x2 in the same movie!! Decipticons want their race to survive, thats what they were fighting for. @superbuu122 Sentinel was torn between both sides. He was so sad at the end when optimus was about to kill him but still wanted his race to survive. (his eye color was purple which is a mix of red (Decepticon) and blue (Autobot).) Like humans, they also needed resources to live but the autobots didn't want to do anything to save their race, if anything its nobody's fault. Each had their own noble path and died by it. I love sentinel, i do agree the race should had survived. Thats all he wanted.
@superbuu122 And if Sentinel would of accepted the matrix when optimus offered it to him, then the race would of survived, for the matrix holds unpredictable powers, not only to revive a bot but to give powers unimaginable that only a Prime can hold and use. Even the fallen (prime) used it to power the machine that harness the sun. Its all powerful... I rather saw Prime or Megatron died then sentinel, it could of open a new storyline.
this music is beautiful. no this doesnt mean i like sentinel prime. i love ironhide, and almost creid when i saw him die. i just love the music. i feel somewhat sad that this had to be the tune for a traitor. but when you think about it, it's somewhat sad, like one is giving up alot. i somewhat think setinel prime was misunderstood. he just wanted to help his home.

The decepticons only ended up on Earth because they were looking for Megatron and the AS. If Optimus sent it on an abandoned planet, humanity would never have gotten involved. Both Sentinel and Mega said that they would harvest whatevr resources the AS landed on, the humans as slaves were simply a bonus objective.
Which brings back another thing. I see Sentinel as a fallen, but a tragic hero while he fought for what he thought was both good and as a necessary evil

The only VALID fact there is the Prime DYNASTY does not destroy a planet with life. And I am NOT talking about alternate TF universes but STRICTLY Bayformers, of which you can't even quote any source from it. The Autobots under Sentinel were strictly for RETAKING Cybertron from Decepticons, AFTER they lost, Optimus CHANGED the objective. Sentinel was a good guy. He did what was best for HIS HOME PEOPLE! Optimus and the autbots basically fell in love with sam and BETRAYED there own race and helped the humans.. Sentinel couldve killed and SHOULDVE killed optimus x2 in the same movie!! Decipticons want their race to survive, thats what they were fighting for. It may seem evil, but the humans werent willing to compromise. What would u do for ur family friends home planet and entire race? Think on it before calling them evil

@superbuu122 Sentinel was torn between both sides. He was so sad at the end when optimus was about to kill him but still wanted his race to survive. (his eye color was purple which is a mix of red (Decepticon) and blue (Autobot).) Like humans, they also needed resources to live but the autobots didn't want to do anything to save their race, if anything its nobody's fault. Each had their own noble path and died by it. I love sentinel, i do agree the race should had survived. Thats all he wanted.

@superbuu122 And if Sentinel would of accepted the matrix when optimus offered it to him, then the race would of survived, for the matrix holds unpredictable powers, not only to revive a bot but to give powers unimaginable that only a Prime can hold and use. Even the fallen (prime) used it to power the machine that harness the sun. Its all powerful... I rather saw Prime or Megatron died then sentinel, it could of open a new storyline.

this music is beautiful. no this doesnt mean i like sentinel prime. i love ironhide, and almost creid when i saw him die. i just love the music. i feel somewhat sad that this had to be the tune for a traitor. but when you think about it, it's somewhat sad, like one is giving up alot. i somewhat think setinel prime was misunderstood. he just wanted to help his home.
